    Jules, you saved me from myself. I thought I was too tired to exercise but when this popped up on my UA-cam I decided to give it a try and got all of it done. I loved it. I will do this on other days when I feel too tired. The variety was wonderful and so was the pace. Thank you.

      I'm so glad that you decided to give this one a try. Seated workouts are great workouts. On days when you're tired, the gentle workouts are great for working on range of motion and flexibility which is really important to focus on as we age.     I love it, it helps me strengthen my muscle after my knee post surgery. Light exercise but it helps me to move slowly and gently. Tq for this

    Thanks Jules, my back is still sore, so I was careful. I chose gentle chair to loosen up. Tenant meeting today, and they told us exercise class is starting May 8th. The teacher I believe is a licensed exercise therapist for arthritis. I’ll let you know how it is. Once my back is better will start back on the daily strength exercises. Mostly doing walking for now.

      That's great news about the exercise instructor coming to your building! When you do exercise with me, I would suggest to stick with the gentle workouts if you have any back issues.

    Fun to have classical music for once….this is a good alternate for my fav Abba workout and got my heart rate up too.

    Hello Jules, I revisisted this one today and loved it as much as I did the first time. Hope you keep making new videos for us so we don't get bored.     I've been having left hip issues and decided to take some time out of standing exercises and try the seated ones. The upper body portion was quite demanding given my bad shoulders but I worked very hard when doing all the "pushing" and "pulling" segments, and really felt the results when I was done. I ramped up the lower body exercises and my hip didn't suffer one bit. Great routine when extra care is needed for rest and healing certain body areas. I truly worked at this one and feel that the all around great results weren't diminished. Anastasia

    Sometimes in the mornings or during the day nothing a person wants to do, or can not.

    Your chair exercises are the best of the best for lulling my friends into moving. Best of all, because you give so many choices for modification, they're willing to stick with you. The toes up and the knee lift to kick were new (to me) and fun. As always, there's a ginormous thank to you.

    i just done this chair excuse before i get into bed.i haven't got a chair up stairs so i sat on the side of my bed with a foot stool really enjoyed doing it I'm hoping i might sleep a bit better.thank you 😀 xx

    Thank you so very much for this video. It is perfect for me. I am 83 years old and am trying to keep my body (such as it is) lol, moving. It has gotten harder to find an exercise video that combines everything and is easy enough for me to do without hurting myself. This one is perfect. You have made an old lady very happy. Keep up the good work. I love all of your work.

    Good morning! My husband is using some of your gentle workouts for his mother. She's 87 and has very limited mobility, so this is perfect! Thanks Jules!! Oh, yes...music is VERY difficult! 😆 But comforting!! 😘😘

    I've begun to look forward to these seated workouts, also, Jules! Sitting with good posture, for 30 mins and going through the range of motions, can be quite challenging, I've realised. ' Find myself slumping like a sack of potatoes, after a few mins:) and have to pull myself straight.

      I’m not sure if that’s a good thing! Choosing the music for my chair workouts is always a challenge since I feel there is a range of ages that watch them. If I put music that has too much beat, I get comments saying it’s annoying. Always a challenge but I’ll keep trying to find music that I hope will be enjoyable.

      Jules your exercises are very effective. I enjoy them. Don't get me wrong. I like classical music. Both my brothers were violinists and we are from a musical family.

    1000 things I love here, one I don’t. I love all music but, whether lively or soothing, it should be BACKGROUND to your instructions and warm voice. The music should not compete with you. Videos are not gyms. They’re different.
