You will man. For me much of this comes from just not spending money on other stuff. I rarely go out for drinks or food, and keep my bills in good shape. Otherwise I couldn’t justify this equipment

@@LaurenceDusoswa I hear you. I do not spend much on those, despite I'm being a musician, which means I cannot avoid completely going out once in a while and spending some on musical toys.. unless for that going out is not so popular nowadays. However, my main problems are, first my local currency which lost so much value in front of the dollar and euro in the last period, and second are my country custom taxes are mental. Stuff usually gets here by double the price.. big and heavy things suffer a lot more on that matter. My best opportunities to afford such things is while traveling abroad. Thankfully I managed to save some money and when I have the opportunity to travel again this DD wheel system is something I'm keeping a close eye on. Fingers crossed this pandemic can end soon enough. Love your videos btw. Have a good one m8 :)

I’ve owned my Podium DD2 for a year now. You’d think I’d have let go of all my resentments towards Fanatec by now for the janky QR system on a $1500 25nm wheel base. Nope.

Hey there, awesome video. Right at 6:11 in your video it looks as though the m10 is mounted from the bottom. Do you recommend this or have any info? Of course it's possibly but the m10 has a lip where it's not flush. Have you just mounted it with a little space between the base and the rig? or perhaps it's stock footage you're using. Thanks for the wicked video

No, I’m not affiliated with them. My channel sponsors are cube controls, digital-motorsports and corkcreditunions. I have fanatec and amazing affiliate links but earn nothing from Simagic, nor do they pay me for reviews. They didn’t know I was doing this review until I released it.
I chose Simagic initially as it was interesting. Now I choose them because I genuinely believe in the products. I don’t like some things about them like how they don’t have a website, but no company is perfect and they seem to be trying very hard to create a good product. I’m a firm supporter of the underdogs, as you have probably seen from my other videos.

Wow! Haha. This is a great quick release system and I wanted to make a video about it. Simagic didn’t even know I was doing this video. I’ve owned my NRG products (in the video) for 6 years now and they have the same design.
Can you point me in the direction of a ‘proper quick release’ please? Genuinely curious to see if there are easier and quicker systems out there.

So, to avoid sounding like a dick, which obviously I’ve come across as, I’ve changed the title from “best quick release ever”. There will always be better, for different reasons. I just think it’s the best but shouldn’t force that opinion on you guys either.

I don't know why you said he never used a proper quick release. This one is a D1spec used on real car. I would never user a quick release from Thrustmaster or Fanatec in a real car !

@@Simumyki if you think I'm referring to thrustmaster or fanatec you are highly mistaken.

@@Joker36KLAN Ah sorry. You could be clear directly a telling about what you talk. It would be faster.
