hey, thanks for the review, I have a Cammus DDWB 15 Nm base, there are a lot of Kyostar quick releases on eBay, can you please post a direct link for the product you have? It would be really helpful for me because I'm looking but have no idea what's right for me.
Hmm, so I just picked up this QR, it fits but the alignment of the 70mm holes is 5 degrees of so the top of the wheel isn't straight up. Is there a way to adjust the alignment ?
Just bought the cheaper version of this Kyostar QR in their AliExpress store and though it looks a little bit lower quality, it does fit my Moza R5 fine, paid a little less than 40 euros with shipping.
I've picked up some of these cheaper ones too. They work okay for me too and get the job done. Not as good quality though, the fit and finish is a bit rougher than the Kyostar ones.
@@SimRacingCorner The one I'm talking about is actually Kyostar too, I didn't explain it well enough lol. They have an AliExpress store and the one I got is the cheaper version of the QR in the video, like 5 USD difference between both versions.
Well, I just found out, that the lockingballs seem to have a different orientation compared to the original simagic, wich makes fitting the powersupply difficult and changes the centerpoint. Looks like on Simagic both the 4 and 6 ball rows are centered over one of the mounting holes, while on the Kyostar the 6 ball row starts at one of those holes. Can anybody confirm that?
confirmed, i bought the moza universal kit to mount the Moza TSW to my Cammus C12 and its just as you say the kyostar QR is 15 degrees to the left. I think I can design an adapter to correct it.
Awesome video man. I had just purchased my first set up, moza pedals and the r9 wheel base by didn’t purchase a wheel as I made one. So I just ordered one of these QR for the wheel. Do you know what bolt patterns the QR accepts?
Hi there,I'm still a bit wondering that if I buy a simagic GT Neo,and use Moza R5 for the wheel base, does this adapter is gonna work for me? or I need to change my option. First time buying a new sim racing setup, little concern about wasting money on the parts I can't use.
If the GT Neo is entirely dependent on the data connection through the QR to the wheelbase, then it won't be compatible with the Moza. If the GT Neo is, or also has USB support, then yes it will work.
@@SimRacingCorner ok, i order D1spec because have 70mm between screw male wheel base part. Recommend from Ali to Moza/Simagic standard have 60mm between scren and don't fit to Cammus base without adapter
@@SimRacingCorner :/ that's so shit tho, i was makin a diy wheel using an old rim i had and got an logitech g pro offer, so i'm sad i won't be able to complete my diy project ;-;

Hi there, thanks for the vid. I have a Simagic Alpha Mini and took a punt after watching. I can confirm these do also work for Simagic bases. Cheers!
Excellent thanks for that feedback.
But why would you replace the qr?
@@fuchsroehre9 Not replacing anything, I put it on a wooden rim for that 'vintage' feel
Bought one for my moza r5. Worked flawlessly
Just bought the Kyostar, great work sir 👊
This is gold! Thanks for testing it.
No problem!
Thanks man was looking for a good quick release that was compatible with pretty much all the big players.

@@arthurnunesc Ahh okay. Of course, I was talking about the unbranded ones that are compatible.
Does it center well? Heard its off center by around 15°
Does the Cammus one work on Moza ?

I cant seem to get this one to fit on my R12, I removed the inner horn bits but it's still not snapping into place
Is the Kyostar center well? Heard its off center by 10-15 degree
How do you attach it to your wheel? Do you have a video?
Awesome video man. I had just purchased my first set up, moza pedals and the r9 wheel base by didn’t purchase a wheel as I made one. So I just ordered one of these QR for the wheel. Do you know what bolt patterns the QR accepts?
It's the standard 70mm
@@SimRacingCorner awesome man, I greatly appreciate it! Thank you
@@SimRacingCorner to me it looks like it acceptes both, 70 and 74 mm. no?
@@sleit0n I just messaged the eBay seller asking the same question because I believe it’s both. I have a nardi wheel I’m trying to use
Hey where do you get those wheels
I went back and forth on the cammus and Moza. Ended up going with the R9. Really impressed with how good it is. But how much better is the cammus

Hi. Thanks for the video. Can you disable the safety button on the kyostar qr? Thanks a lot!
There's a grub screw that retains the button, so it can be removed. You'll need a small hex key.
Hello, can i use male wheel base part from Kyostar to Cammus Wheel?
I think you could
@@SimRacingCorner ok, i order D1spec because have 70mm between screw male wheel base part. Recommend from Ali to Moza/Simagic standard have 60mm between scren and don't fit to Cammus base without adapter
Does any of this damage the pins? Should i take out the pins in the wheel im attaching to the QR?
Any news on logitech g pro racing wheel base quick release adapter?
Not as far as I'm aware. Technically it's more involved as the wheelbase requires the electronics on the Logitech wheel (like the Fanatec) to work.
@@SimRacingCorner :/ that's so shit tho, i was makin a diy wheel using an old rim i had and got an logitech g pro offer, so i'm sad i won't be able to complete my diy project ;-;
Does it work on the pxn v12 lite ?
Hi! you know if it would fit on a simagic base? Thanks
It does
Can this work with simagic?
If I find out, I'll let you know.
I have it, awesome qr
You forgot to mention to take the screws out if not it’s gonna damage the pins
What screws? And on the wheel or the QR?
Why would they even make it non nrg compatible, jesus whats wrong w them. I wonder how many people purchased them only to find out they dont fit
