Will, you have not followed one of the fundamental rules when taking apart electronic devices. And that is when you are finished you should always have one or two screws left over where you have no idea where they have come from.

Is the wheel really that much better ( simagic) its only 2nm, where's for eventually 15nm bases is easier to upgrade from DD bcus the sell like wildfire 2nd hand. First of all Will, congratulations. Your channel is among the best out there, if not the best. You’re living the American dream (in Australia) and like me, you have a beautiful wife that is way out of our league , and 2 adorable kids. Love the channel and all that you do for the sim racing community
So out of interest. I’d be interested in the M10 base. I kinda like their GT4 rim, but prefer the fanatec CS formula V2. So how would I need to have that and the M10 base..?
Hello, how did you mount the simucube 2 wheel adapter to a simagic GT4 wheel? Does it required anything else then the wheelside quick release from simucube? Nothing more? Like any adapter?
Do we know if we can buy simagic wheel side qr to put on other wheels to save with the issue of the cable on the base side quick release or will it need a new base side qr?
So is an extension needed for the gt4 to convert the 50mm to 70mm pattern first, then mount to the wheel side Simucube QR? Or is there a way to do it without an extension to keep the wheel to motor distance the same?
Couple of questions. Does this simagic QR fit the Moza? I have a turn racing R305 I run with my CS wheel. I’m thinking about buying the GT Pro Hub or GT Pro with D 320mm wheel and plug back into the PC. Which would you recommend? Love the channel and content. An older video but it just shows how on point you are 😎
So could I use this quick release to connect a momo or some other 70mm wheel to the simagic without connecting any electronics? Just the wheel and use separate shifter maybe?
@@boostedmedia sincerely wish you'd elaborate further rather than being so vague with every response, as I've seen "we don't deal with Simagic after past experiences" plastered under every video without explanation. does anyone know how to remove the rotary encoders on the gts wheel. ive removed the 4 screws on the face plate because i just got the wheel and there is something rattling around inside but all functionality seems fine. So i thought maybe a scew came loose. But the encoders are whats holding the faceplate on.

I haven’t used the base since I did the review but I did figure out why it happened and it is repeatable. If you have the wheel turned past the angle you adjust the sensitivity to then it goes mental. So for example if you have the wheel turned to full lock at 900 degrees, then set the software to have a range of 360 degrees it will do it.
Does anyone actually run a Simagic wheel rim on a Fanatec base? I am interested in Simagic's Formula style wheel rim on a DD1 because I like the size of the rim. Fanatec at this time only offers very small Formula style rims.
Hi Will, I have a fanatec Podium DD and I want to use simmagic's FX PRO steering wheel. can i successfully combine the fanatec base and the steering wheel of Simagic using the methods on your video? Please let me know, Thank You so much.
Well after seen this I was stuck on the part what and how I would get buttons on my simucube wheel base as once I get the wheel base n peddles from fanatec I am going to be broke lol.
