The game is in its best state it's ever been. Siege hasn't gotten worse it's gotten better, but for many veterans that can be interpreted as a negative since the game they played, has changed so much they start to feel nostalgic about how the game was back when they played it. Let me remind you how terrible the old lighting was, or how spawn peeking with a smg11 was a thing, or how unbelievably buggy siege used to be. The game we have today is so much better. People really need to forget about the how the game was in the past and play the game we have today. Good video btw.
bullet holes, people hiding in corners are basically invisible like vigil cuz of the lighting, actual spawn peeks everywhere, like as soon as you spawned, run outs all the time and it took 2 wholes seconds to get detected, so many exploits, op characters, ash Jaeger mains speedruning the game, boosting at an all time high, quick peeking was ridiculously fast, bad hitboxes and extremely bad hit register, team killing at the start of the round, no reverse friendly fire, solo quick match with a 4 stack, they'll teamkill you and votequick you out, people basically never got any consequences for toxicity...I could go on and on, it definitely still has some issues but if they were on the same list as the others today's problems would be at the very bottom of the list, not even close.
The old lighting was arguably much better, they got rid of hiding spots. everyone loved ACOG on every gun even if they hated dying to it. spawn peeking was a problem and bullet hole peeks as well but they are thrown out the window when you could just drone it out and counter it. The bugs could be annoying but had a charm to them like the goat legs bug.
I've started playing siege just very recently, and i gotta say despite the steep learning curve ive been really enjoying it so far, and I guarantee ill be playing this game for a long time
@@AkechiToo im in the same boat as him and i do agree that it might seem like the game has gotten worse but i honestly feel like its not the devs fault, its mostly the issue of how much they change the game, which imo its a good thing in this situation, seems like they are trying to copy other games with new ops, most of it being val, but it still feels good at least to me, the game still, hopefully, has a long road ahead of it and it could make just the right changes to still be good and get veterans and new people to like it simultaneously, because it is a great game and also i need more people to play with, like most of my friends are either too busy with other things or dont like the game because how much its changed D: anyways, ive been probably talking too much non-sens-e for this entire time just wanted to say your video is good and i hope you grow as a creator
Ubisoft needs to listen to the gamer community. They make changes that no one asked for. If you could send ubisoft a list of things they need to change and they would listen to it, the list would be endless. If I had a time machine I would go back to the r6 peek.
Although I appreciate the uniqueness of Siege and have a desire to continue playing it, the frequent balancing, UI modifications, and game slowdowns have diminished the enjoyment I get from playing.
I have to say, the game is by far in it's best state but the biggest problem still remains what it has always been and that's being a new player friendly game, it's not cuz people see all the ops, maps, gameplay and find it extremely intimidating. doesn't help that there are practically no tutos when you first launch it as a new player BUT play it with friends and it's one of the best and most rewarding gaming experiences once you learn it
true, I mean if anything new comer has the opposite effect of teaching you how to properly play since it puts you with other noobs that just reinforce and barricade everything or you have a smurf that aces every round and is having fun at the expense of others.
