Bro, this video was top dollar! I love that you actually put the names of the games above the footage as well, both as credit, but also for people who take interest and wants to play them. This is amazing work, really. I hope you make more quality stuff!
I'm grateful and lucky to have found some great creators and streamers who take the time to cover a wide range of games with straightforward reviews while playing. Thanks to them, I’ve discovered and bought a ton of indie games that have truly blown me away, and I feel like I’ve really gotten my money’s worth. Games like Elden Ring, Wukong, Enshrouded, Planet Crafter, and many others. Almost all of the games I’ve chosen to play share one thing in common-no extra purchases-except for Path of Exile, which I played for hundreds of hours before buying some storage. Amazing video!
Fallout 76 was missing NPC's and they were bragging about it! They masked it as a "Game Play Experience" where you were supposed to act as each other's NPC's as a community... It was very, very sad. There were so many excuses like this throughout "AAA" game companies.
I honestly don't have an issue with not having NPCs to a degree. Having a "lonelier" Wasteland (think The Road) is intriguing, and something I am thinking about modding into Fallout 3/4. However, that means the actual gameplay and environmental experiences need to be thay much better, as that will be everything you experience. THAT was the issue with Fallout 76. It was not better. It was the same Bethesda experience, minus quests and NPCs, but with more bugs and terrible monetization practices.
As a 35year old guy i feel this! The gaming industry is in a sad state at the moment, from microtransactions to unfinished games that costs up to 60-80dollars. From the days i actually were looking forward to new games, to the times we are at now where i expect alot of yank, and far less value for your money. Before we got games where you could unlock cosmetics, get new weapons etc etc, now that is locked behind a paywall. Now days we get max 50% of a game, the rest is sold as DLC. So sad... Great video! I nearly never like or subscribe anything on youtube either than music. You deserve both! Amazing content, refreshing!

God Bless you; be well, see you in your next one! ♥👏👏👏👏 Most of all, never doubt your true talent, trust your gut. We need video makers like you, I mean it. BIG LOVE!!!
100% agree, I'm a gaming Dad and I don't find the time to play anything anymore, but the time I do have is spent playing games I can pick up and put down for weeks at a time.
You're very natural on camera, and have a very calm demeanor. Saw you from Asmon. Everything was straight forward, none of it was controversial, and I think it was all correct too. Well done!
Great video, agree with all of your points. I do miss the days of anticipation of big launches, but we just can't trust trailers, hype, studio reputation or even games media reviews anymore. We just have to wait and see how it plays. One thing that is good about being a time-poor dad gamer is that you don't mind waiting until a game is in the bargain bin before you try it, and usually by then it's fixed. Looking forward to part 2.
Never in my life have I heard truer words than this. Well spoken, sub for life right here. The trailers you mention, I did think The Division trailer looked amazing and believed that was what we as the gamers were going to get until we saw the truth in game but when I saw Anthem's trailer I knew it looked too good to be true and didn't buy it until it was on sale for $5 at my local store, still haven't played it.
This is so good! Damn! Properly explained, espacially from the casual point of view of most of us who have responsibilities and can't afford all of our time to our hobby. Please keep making videos, at your own pace. The casual but still discerning gamers need to be represented in YT, and looking at this video you seem to be the right person for this noble fight.
You've not only impressed Baldy, but also me and other casual gamers that relate to everything you said in your video. I'm very glad to have you as one of our "spokesperson" in the gaming space. Take my like and sub!
Thank you for highlighting the Ubisoft stuff as someone who used to be a massive Ubisoft fan it’s just embarrassing knowing I used the fanboy them so hard now I want them to fail also not many people know but a lot of high positions in the company are family members hiring eachother and keeping the cycle it truly is joeover
It's not just games, it's movies and television as well. No one is getting what they want anymore. This disconnect between producers and consumers has become so alarming that it should honestly be studied. It's not just political ideologies clashing, or controversy, or even companies making the wrong bets. How can it be that the majority of western produced entertainment is failing, not JUST by a margin, but by completely missing the mark? What's even more surprising is that talking to the average person reveals that most of the things that go wrong are seemingly obvious to us all. When you really look at... it almost feels intentional.
Bro stay on the YT grind. This is an amazing first video. Your script is clean, your editing is good, your takes are great. Really enjoyed watching this video.
As a hardcore gamer i still agree with your take on pretty much every level. I want to play a game, not be its product. While i spend a lot of time gaming, it doesnt mean i want to spend it with battle passes and daily logins. Artificial gains or fomo ruins the experience and damages the progression thats meaningful. I get disconnected and each passing moment means less and less eventually making me question why im playing the game. As a casual gamer it becomes more of an issue. When you dont get value out of the product or it wastes your time it starts to break the intention of purchase. I have much to say on the matter, but i think you spoken mind succinctly. Great first video, you did a great job and hope you have time to make more.
This is a great video as a person that is not a casual gamer but will be eventually due to life happening and growing this video resonates with me the most and says all what i have in mind about modern gaming industry
Well said, sir. I'm an older gamer, been gaming since the 80s. There's no way I have the time anymore to pick up and play the bigger AAA games the way I used to even in my college years. The gamers who are able to invest 20 hours of a week into a video game have an inordinate advantage over those who simply can't in most live service games. It's an observable fact. I find myself chilling back and playing some of the single player games on Steam more and more because I just can't commit the time to any of these giant games anymore. It's not feasible for me. Great video!
Incredible job, not just simply for a first video. It's one thing figuring out what makes a good video, it is a whole other animal to transform a set of vague ideas into a finished full video that gains traction because it is interesting and relateable.
this is a good video, hope you talk about dev crunch in the next one. its not just the gamers who's experience is suffering because of greed its the people making the games as well, and the time that they are expected to make quality games within
Fellow Saffa here! great video as a 40 year old father of 2 this video hits me in the feels. Actively avoid overly long games now because I know Ill never have the time to finish them.
This is good. And, I agree with most of what you mentioned here. You have a talent for making videos! Keep it up and you will have a good future on UA-cam!
As a "Dad Gamer" myself who used to be a heavy WoW/FFXIV gamer, having time to game has become a luxury. This year has been good for me though, Helldivers 2 has that "1 Hour ++ after dinner when the kids are in bed" gameloop that just suits my "Gamer dads" squad. We're also looking at Mechwarrior 5 Clans Co-op too. Somehow these games fit nicely with our packed schedules and hope more game companies will cater to us. However, if a game requires me to "swipe" to be "competitive", thats pretty much a big no for me.
You rekindled a lot of love in my heart. For a minute, it lookes like AAA games and their predatory monetisation was the only future because of how much money they make...that indie studios would be eaten alive in the face of their profit but no. The opposite. Thanks for reminding me.
Yes, THIS video, felt warm. I love that you say this. This guy truly cares. - FYI, a big thank you from me too, to you puff and to the creator. Love this direction.
As a huge Battlefield fan myself, since the good old Bad Company 2 days, you have my sub. It is a shame what they have done to our boy. Even just watching the video that compares the voice lines between 2042 and BF3 there is just a huge difference in quality and passion. Keep it up, as a former gamer and now a casual gamer like yourself, I support this message.
@@PaddaPlays I’m just glad indie games and double AA games are doing a lot better than triple AAA games you should give indie games and double AA games a second chance.
Im going to speak as a causal gamer from Pakistan, South Asia. As a kid, and all the way into college, I never had enough money to buy a lot of these games, as my pocket money was limited around those years. I only managed to buy pirated CDs and DVDs of old games for years, having a few games but they ate up a lot of my free time (Age of Empires 2, Battlezone 2, GTA San Andreas and a few others). I had heard of Activision, Ubisoft, and other companies from friends who were showered in pocket money and had consoles for themselves while I only had a PC. I always thought to myself "One day, ONE DAY, I'll be able to get these!" Cue the time I reach university, and I'm left ASTOUNDED at what the fuck is happening at these companies. Seriously, what. The hell? How is it that gaming as an industry has been more profitable than ever, yet plenty of big companies are being this inept? Whos running the show? Who are tjey hiring? I dont even think this is entirely a executive thing either, executives don't make games, developers do. And seeing how some of these people act on social media made me suspicious thar these aren't the best people for whats supposed to be the cream of the crop of the industry. And thats not accounting the horrendous price jackings that made these games feel that much more out of reach to me than ever before. Even with regional price adjustments, its too damn much. Here I am, 2024, now with a job, using it as a safety net whole chasing my ambitions for becoming an independent writer and comic artist, while doing gaming as a side hobby on the weekends. Looking at the AAA industry fills me with nothing but apathy because this is what they wrought on themselves. They asked for this, they wanted this, and I'm just going to leave it at that. I have accepted that, for all these peoples claims of wanting a "modern audience", and making inclusive games, that I'm not really the target audience for them, because they sure as shit never considered people who can't afford these for various reasons. So I looked away and turned to the indie and AA scene and emulating and playing older games. Make no mistake, this part of the scene ain't perfect. Emulation sites and providers can go down, and some indie devs are honestly not much better than AAA developers in terms of mindset, some being just as entitled and arrogant, you'll run into stinkers everywhere. BUT these games run on many types of hardware and are cheaper which is why I prefer looking here. Its got a lot of charm to it.
Much love from the US, Pakistan is a beautiful country brother I'm glad you're able to chase your dreams and I wish you success in your creative journeys and life ❤

@@AQU1L_ Are single player games that require an internet connection available in physical disc format? If they are 100% online, it's to prevent piracy.
@@RedPill780 there are many *single player games which require internet connection if you buy a digital copy when they are also available on physical disk* and those dont require it and my problem is not with internet connection my problem is with forcing it on players with their crappy launchers, why do you think they add a launcher when you are already downloading the game from a big online game store as steam and why do i have to use your launcher to play it when you are already selling the game on their launcher and i know that TW3 didnt used to require their own launcher but now they do, do you know why. Why are these forcing launchers and advertising me their games when i have already bought the game why show me cyberpunk screen when ever i open witcher 3, it does not belongs there simply, i paid for the game i want to play not a game that will advertise their other game and make me made an id for their launcher and it is not limited to cdpr there are many publishers who did this before cdpr did but i pointed this tw3 game because i like it i have played for over 430+ overs just only on base game without any dlc and it would have made sense to me of they advertised tw3 dlcs there and not cp77, cuz dlcs are part of the game which i play not cp77.
A great video, looking forward to watching part 2
Absolutely hyped you popped up on my recommended. Keep uploading bro
Bro this is so sick! Thank you 😭❤️
Good luck on the channel
Problem is AAA is no longer ran by gamers but ran by suits and activists.
Thats the quote of the gamers year
Yeah, a lot of MBAs who never liked games-or only liked sports games-thought gaming was just for nerds and losers, long before it became mainstream.
Yes we know we saw your comment on Asmons channel. Your opinion isn't some new take. It's a platitude at this point.
Suites? I didn't know hotel rooms could make games.
This absolutely this. Preach brother, their greed and activism will kill gaming.
Came here from Baldy's reaction, great video mate, instant sub and look forward to what you do next.
@@DJHyperKaine big love! Good mindset!
First video!? Never would have guest. Great work
Saw you on Asmond. Excellent first video.
I really like how you include the title of each game you show. Very much appreciated.
As many bellow mentioned probably, I thought you were in this "game" (yt videos) for some time now, but it seems you're fresh meat, yet, your content says otherwise! I think we got a winner here boys! Keep it up please, we need more people like you on this platform! true to themselves, passionate, involved and does its research! Well done, Sir, well done!
As a 34 year old dad gamer as well who lived through and spent a ridiculius amount of time gaming during from about 1993-2009 so much of this resonates with me. Great video!
Thank you bro!
DUDE; I have to say, your pacing in the video, your takes, your positive but also realistic mindset; sounding the alarm for the gaming community in a way other cannot understand. THIS IS CONTENT. This is your first video? CONGRATS, YOU KILLED IT. Better video here than literally ~80-90% of all gaming videos and or news, etc. You have huge support from Asmons community, myself included. KEEP IT UP PLEASE! Perhaps in part 2, expand into more, you seem like the perfect person to make these videos. God Bless you; be well, see you in your next one! ♥👏👏👏👏 Most of all, never doubt your true talent, trust your gut. We need video makers like you, I mean it. BIG LOVE!!!
here from the Bald great Vid bro you killed in on your first Vid Mad props
100% agree, I'm a gaming Dad and I don't find the time to play anything anymore, but the time I do have is spent playing games I can pick up and put down for weeks at a time.
Spot on, great video dude! Thanks for representing us gamer dads! :)
Great video bro, i agree with you they should respect fans and stop the toxic positivity.
Such a high production value for a debut. Immediately subscribed.
And as a casual gamer myself, this video feels very personal.
As someone who has been gaming since the early 90's, I have to say you hit the nail right on the head with this video!
Bro this has made my day! Thank you!
@@PaddaPlays Dude you made our day this video is nuclear; I give it a 1000/10! I agree.
Thank you for giving us a voice!
Can't believe this is a first video. Keep up this Quality and you will be a full-time casual gamer in no time bro! ^^
100% agree with your take on this (I'm also a casual gaming dad). Great video!
There's tons of psyops going on
Bro stay on the YT grind.
Great video bro, saw it on Asmonds channel and came here to give u a view. Great freaking work. Keep it up if possible.
You’re spot on. Great perspective, and also - really dang good production quality. Thanks for posting.
Insane how hard this video popped off. Bro really got almost 15k subs on day 1, big props to you man!
You ever noticed that the UBIsoft symbol looks like the water circling the toilet bowl?
L M A O
There are no coincidences haha
Incredible job, not just simply for a first video. It's one thing figuring out what makes a good video, it is a whole other animal to transform a set of vague ideas into a finished full video that gains traction because it is interesting and relateable.
came from AG channel. You made an amazing video keep up the good work your killing it brother!
Here from Asmondgold's reaction video. Good job if this is actually you very first video. Great editing and good points
Also I want to commend the quality of this for your first video. 🎉
Thank you my friend! Currently cooking part 2 😰
Thank you my friend! Currently cooking part 2 😰
this is a good video, hope you talk about dev crunch in the next one. its not just the gamers who's experience is suffering because of greed its the people making the games as well, and the time that they are expected to make quality games within
I came from Asmon's YT video. I like your style, editing, and commentary. You have the potential to be a successful game reviewer.
Great video, i think you very eloquently talk about many issues that casual gamers have and that aren't talked about at all
Fellow Saffa here! great video as a 40 year old father of 2 this video hits me in the feels. Actively avoid overly long games now because I know Ill never have the time to finish them.
This is good. And, I agree with most of what you mentioned here. You have a talent for making videos! Keep it up and you will have a good future on UA-cam!
Watched you from the Golden boy, and I have to say. Your production quality was amazing, you've earned this pig's sub.
Great video. It does feel like big game companies have lost sight of what made games fun for casual gamers.
Fantastic first video dude holy hell. You knocked it right out of the park with this.
Yessiirrrr! Totally agree with this! Nice to seem a gaming channel from the perspective of a casual
Schweeet thanks bro!
@@PaddaPlays I’m just glad indie games and double AA games are doing a lot better than triple AAA games you should give indie games and double AA games a second chance.
Very well done for a first video!
Can't wait to see part 2😄
An outstanding video, dude! You speak the truth and for your 1st video. Wow! You shall blow up on youtube! Subbed!
"by gamers for the gamers" needs to come back
also AWESOME video. great job brother.
I always thought to myself "One day, ONE DAY, I'll be able to get these!"
Cue the time I reach university, and I'm left ASTOUNDED at what the fuck is happening at these companies.
Much love from the US, Pakistan is a beautiful country brother I'm glad you're able to chase your dreams and I wish you success in your creative journeys and life ❤
Here from asmond review of your video. Great job and agreeable. Editing and music is smooth
Mad respect for the way you have articulated so many frustrated gamer opinions. Keep up the good work fella 👍🏻
Dude, you killed it. First video? It was extremely well done and your edits are on point. Keep up the good shit bud
Here bc of asmond. Hard to believe this is your first video. Keep it up
Here from Asmon's channel, great video dude! Hope you keep up with the journey, I'd love to hear more of your thoughts. Cheers!
Again very nice continuation from last video. Nice perspective.
Wow, you started strong with production values. Also a great take!
It was also great idea to ask Asmon to react to it, you really beat the algorythm that way.
I can't wait to see more of you! Good luck!
Very informative, very passionate, love to see it
Thanks Joe! I appreciate it brother 😘
Great video man!! Keep up the good work.
First video Wow! You captured the essence of how gamers are feeling right now, Way to go man instantly subscribed came from Osman gold. Look forward to next video.
200th sub. Great vid my dude.
Great first video. The quality is as if you've been doing this for a decade. Glad to see you got so many subs in 10 days.
Great video man!
Whatched on Asmond but came here to let it play in background because you deserve the view!
