I don`t think Marilyn was afraid of Wilder. If she was late she was probably being had by the front office, the producers, the head of studio retc. She like MacLaine was FEARLESS.
Nah.
Wilder is notoriously hateful BUT yeah, Marilyn even when she was a beginner starlet was notorious line flubber.
@@litothemanlapid Don`t know if that`s true. STanwyck, Holm (whom I interviewed twice and once about Marilyn `All About Eve`) simply RESENTED Marilyn. Holm, who also was a patient of Dr. Ralph Greenson, Marilyn`s psychiatrist, poisoned Greenson`s mind about Monroe. Anyway there is no way of sanitizing what Wilder did. He knew she was pregnant and he kept shooting and re-shooting the scene on the beach where she takes a fall. Of course she miscarried. The contempt for women is most evident in Hollywood. Look at the kinds of films the `women` directors are doing? `Barbie` for crissakes. And someone else is planning another Super Woman film. Antifeminist females are given the jobs because they buy into the antifeminist contempt some men have regarding women.
That Individual has "Known" spag' western, though not that much...
It's hard to believe these older broads admit to being a Feminist.
