I met Shirley MacLaine at Borders bookstore at the old WTC(pre-9/11) where I worked. It was during my lunch hour. It was a book signing. She looked amazing.

Sorry, but the daughter is wrong to "air" her family issues to the public. Clearly, in doing so she is attempting to HURT her mother, by airing them. This is not right. Everyone has family issues at times, and they are just that FAMILY issues that are no one else's business. If she has a problem with her mother, TALK to your mother. No reason to attempt to gain public sympathy (by getting people on "your side") by airing family dirty laundry. Settle it WITHIN the family, NOT in public.

I believe the child also had a father who, as I understand biology, was equally responsible for her care, nurturing, and upbringing.
