Apologies for past judgements based on my own religious ignorance. I've come to realize Source and Prana and see the truth in Shirley MacClaine's knowledge now.
When I was 25 I went to a psychic for the first time. She told me that I had three children , two in the physical & one in the spiritual. I looked at her confused because I had two children ,not 3 . She said , I'm talking about the daughter you had a miscarriage with. I immediately started to cry & she said she wants you to know she chose not to come into the world at that time. But she loves you & she will come back to you as a grandchild. But she might not be a girl. She said ,but you will know me by the mole on my neck right where you have one. Same side on the left. I was flabbergasted to say the least ,mainly because it was a little girl I miscarriaged! Other things she went on to tell me were very accurate as I said I was 25yrs old at the time of the reading & I'm now in my early 50's Well my youngest Son had my first Grandchild & I felt such a deep connection to him even before he was born. I figured it was because it was my first grandchild. But when he was handed to me for the first time I had this overwhelming feeling of familiarity & deep connection to him. I was in Love instantly! The first memory I had as a two-year old was looking at all the big people around me and then looking at my tiny little body and becoming very distraught seeing that I was once "again" a small child. I realized it would take many years for me to grow up "again" to become a big person, and I felt impatient. I didn't know who I had been or what I had done, but I remembered that I had been an adult. I had a strange memory of having been in a war, as well.

When I was seven or eight my father took me to this place where there were weeping willows trailing branches in this pond and a big old house in the background overlooking the pond. But some religions judge your future position for All Eternity on the strength of how you 'behave' in just one single lifetime. Most of your behaviour anyway depends on when and where you were born (into what culture/religion/moral systems etc). At least with reincarnation you get more than one chance to 'make good'.

Gosh McLaine's talk has helped me. I have experienced esp for decades. I feel things about people and receive messages in my mind about them, but what do I do with this knowledge, what do I do??
I no longer see them as "past" lives...I see them as "congruent" lives...all different facets of the same Higher Self experiencing at the same moment as individual focal points of consciousness.
What kinda shocks me is the audience.. People have changed so much.. They can sit there and listen to the story without instant judgement on their faces, looking on their phones or expecting a climax in the story that will blow their minds and satisfy them. My father left the belief system of Catholicism, to later join the belief system of reincarnation. I was very saddened by the thought that on his death bed, rather than being in a mental state of peace, he would find it necessary to believe that he was not "enlightened" ... and would therefore have to come back to earth maybe many more times to pay off those nasty karmic debts. While on holiday many years ago. We befriended a married couple never met eather before. For some reason I took a very profound dislike to the lady. And she to me. It was as if she had done something awful to me. Very hard to describe it was more than just her personality. It felt like I knew her before from some where. I instantly hated her. And that has stayed with me for years. Very strange.

Same here. Most vividly Coney Island in the 20s, I went to Hollywood in the 30s specifically after seeing the Hindenburg burn. Too much tragedy, couldn't take it & everyone I knew was already out West. I was good friends with Mae West. Worked behind the scenes, hard as a female writer in those days. Ended up writing ad copy in Chicago, which is where I died. Kinda young, lots of cigs stress booze & coke in my younger years. Always wanted to track down a name or face, hope I can find my name one day from that life, the memories are quite vivid in flashes, get more so with meditation.

@@Lightner445555555555 Paradise and hell are offered by various religions to encourage folks to go along with just their brand. But some religions judge your future position for All Eternity on the strength of how you 'behave' in just one single lifetime.
Most of your behaviour anyway depends on when and where you were born (into what culture/religion/moral systems etc). At least with reincarnation you get more than one chance to 'make good'.

What kinda shocks me is the audience.. People have changed so much.. They can sit there and listen to the story without instant judgement on their faces, looking on their phones or expecting a climax in the story that will blow their minds and satisfy them. We have become so unhappy in our daily lives that we are addicted to technology and short instant dopamine boosts..

My father left the belief system of Catholicism, to later join the belief system of reincarnation. I was very saddened by the thought that on his death bed, rather than being in a mental state of peace, he would find it necessary to believe that he was not "enlightened" ... and would therefore have to come back to earth maybe many more times to pay off those nasty karmic debts. No matter which religion, it instills fear in believers, that the self might have to suffer in the supposed next life ... or lives ... and that teaching is tragic.
