- I made everyone happy by playing every weapon so it's time to make myself happy by playing one of my favorite weapon
I know there are a lot of DMC fans in my subscribers so this video is for you
This video took me way longer than expected lol. I had some fun with the slow motions, I hope you enjoy. This song is so epic but it's a hell to edit, first because it's a 9 minutes song and I can't do a 9 minutes video but it's hard to remove some parts as they are all awesome. Second because there are parts that are very slow and other parts that are very fast
Initially I wanted to do a mashup World/Rise video but they don't seem to perform well. I had way enough clips with just World anyway

The fatalis counter at 2:35 is literally the coolest thing i've seen in a monster hunter game.
When he did the hel breaker thing i though how is he going to hit it but then it hit the wing which caught me of guard

The Helm Breaker into Fatalis' maw about to spew flames was absolutely mindbogglingly sexy. Something simple and yet just perfection. Very in theme with a dragons main weak point being its mouth.
This is such a awesome edit. Hitbox abuse is always a treat to watch. However the Bagel dive counter will live in my head forever now. It was awesome. Seriously great work. Thanks for sharing.

One thing I noticed is that you know the hitboxes for these monsters well enough to place yourself correctly for attacks. That's pretty impressive.
wow. I thought that fatalis dunk was dope, but the acidic glav, gold rath and safi was great. But my fave would be yian garuga dunk. Even as a GS main, this video is just so satisfying to watch. Thank you.

Holy shit that positioning
Holy sh*t the wing-clip at 2:42 is just… wow. How do you even practice for that?
Fail and repeat ahah, it helps a lot if you can record your gameplay to adjust your timing and positioning
This one is actually one of the easiest to practice since it's pretty scripted as you always know when Fatalis is going to do this pattern (when he transitions to phase 3)
The best part in helmbreaker is it has a chance to knock the monsters out of their flight
Man, it's just SO SATISFYING after playing a different weapon for a while, and then switching back to LS or Lance and just _become untouchable_

You can bet on that.
World sold more copies, world (even now) has more players and world got developed by their "big" team while rise got developed by their "small" team. They kinda go that route to be able and deliver another monster hunter game. Development takes an insane amount of time, Rise you could say is their filler Game to have a new monster hunter game for the coming years until the next main title drops.
Yeah true but i really hope mh6 is the closest possible to mhw, rise got me thinking that a fast paced mh is not what i like, and by the retention of players im not the only one that thinks that way.
Mhw just felt magical from start to finish to every new encounter they dropped.
Also i prefer the jewel farm more because they have a lower rng cap.
With amulets its impossible to get the best combination possible.
@j0obn255 as someone with thousands of hours on each, that is terrible. The talismans are supposed to be bonus skills or at least not as important. Having the decorations be make able instead of spending 800 hours playing the game to get one Attack Jewel+ 4 is fucking absurd. I say that not as an exaggeration because I JUST got my first Attack Jewel+4 yesterday. Decorations are so much more integral to making builds than talismans it's unreal. You can find "no-talisman" builds everywhere for every weapon (in sunbreak). I'll let you know right now that there isn't a no decoration build anywhere on this planet (except for low rank)
@@MistaFinni true but i liked more the slow progression in mhw, every deco you got was an improvement.
So u had a slow and steady progression curve.
In rise you have most skills on armors wich makes the progression more instant the moment u craft a couple of good pieces.
In mhw there was better mix match cause of deco being rng.
Im not saying its objectively better but i liked it more.
@@DamTheFamcalling Rise and Sunbreak a "filler game" is a such a massive disservice to not only the game, but the developers and hunters who play it. Development of Monster Hunter is divided by two teams. And it isn't the "Main Team" and "Filler Team," it's "Main Team" and "Portable Team". Main Team makes the more grounded experience while the Portable Team plays with the ideas the main team had and tweaks everything.
WorldBorne introduced and reworked an entirely different armor skill system and it needed balanced. Level 3 decorations were not used or needed retuned, the scarcity of some decorations was enough to drive anyone up a wall. Don't get me started on the Hybrid Jewel 4s. Attack boost was lack luster and it was just better to get as much affinity as possible. Rise (and later Sunbreak) retuned and rebranded a lot of decorations and added a lot of new skills on top of that. Attack Boost was made into a Jewel 2 because you can ACTUALLY GET THEM NOW, defense boost was made so that every tier of Jewel is another level of Defense Boost. Jewel1 giving DB1, Jewel 3 giving you DB3 and so on. Flinch Free was made into a Level 1 decoration after being a mandatory level 3 decoration for Insect Glaive. We got a slew of new skills like Rapid Morph, Burst, Embolden, Defiance, Grinder (S). They retuned Critcal Element, Guard Up, Mind's Eye.
And this is just decorations and skills. There are plenty of other things that RiseBreak just did better than WorldBorne and it isn't close. I should also say that it's not a competition either. The whole reason RiseBreak made things better was to help the Main Team with the next game. The two teams balance each other out be introducing ideas, tuning it, reintroducing ideas, retuning them; they've been doing this for 19½ years. Diluting one of the most integral parts of MH to "Filler" is disrespectful. If there wasn't a portable team, MH would probably be as bad as pokemon right now.
Reminds me of the older MH days, I almost forgot that people could become that skilled.
And dude, wtf was that fatalis jump, incredible. Back in MH3 alatreon put its head down for half a second and you could time a charged GS attack on it, but this is even faster than that.
Honestly, this was insanely impressive first off, you can always tell who is a real dedicated Long sword main because it's extremely obvious.
Long time ago, Long sword used to be a hugely brainless spam weapon that was just really strong, but ever since it got the cool mechanics of its counters, jump etc, it's always so cool to watch people use Long sword to its full potential, I've always had an opinion that long sword is one of the easier weapons to "play" but one of the hardest to actually master.
Well done on the breath taking clips, this really is a work of art, and i don't just mean the video I also mean your skill and dedication to the long sword.

I‘m playing for the first time through Iceborne now and I have to say, the two reasons I hard grinded for MR 100 are the MR Kulve Taroth Beta layerd armor and the Stygian Zinogre layerd Weapon. My favourite Longsword design in Iceborne is Stygian Zinogre and my second favourite the Azure age Longsword, this is beautiful

Long sword playstyle is pretty much timming based as you will be deflecting/parrying/counter attacks for maximum damage and performance

The fight 2:35 with Fatalis was wild!! Not only did you counter the roar, but also managed to stab the tip of the WING!! To perform the jumping slash, which wouldn't have worked if it missed, only to finish him off with a straight headshot!!! THAT WAS AMAZING!!!

Is the Long Sword a weapon for masters? Hell yes.
A lot of people I met that play say long sword is too easy to play but I say it takes skill to to play it wit style. I love the long sword. The weeb in me won’t ever let me stay away to long no matter what weapon I focus on I always go back to LS. The only thing that frustrates me is when sacred sheath doesn’t connect when it 100% should.

I haven't used the LS (yet), but it's so incredibly over the top and flashy that it just embraces how edgy it actually is. It's so extra and I love it
The difference between an experienced Long Sword user and a master is always super impressive to me. The Iai into Foresight backstep into Iai at 1:54 is just one of many examples in this of the peak long sword player.
One day, I too will be able to read 3 moves ahead against a monster, so I can score an Iai into Helmbreaker off of a mm cubed of hitbox.

if you have your ls drawn and roll through the roar, mashing out a helmbreaker will be timed correctly with the wing flap. happy hunting!

You just expanded my LS knowledge. Going to have to use the foresight slash dodge cancel into LSS for multiple attacks from monsters often.
