@@DavidHernandez-yl3tx it is the move when you doing the charge animation but you hold down the attack button, it will then charge your sword. After that, your sword will do phial damage and no longer bounce even if you overcharge.
im really starting to get in to CB, but im struggling with mandatory skills. Capacity Boost, Focus3 and minds eye are needed right? what about Guard up and how much Guard is needed? sometimes i hear 3, sometimes i hear 1 guard is enough. i understand the need to attack and crit skills, but those come after you got the main skills right? how do you know per monster to have what set?
Minds Eye isn't necessary since you get it for free when you charge your sword. Guard Up is only necessary for attacks that can bypass your shield i.e Velkhana's ice breath. Normally only Guard 1 is necessary but that also includes charged shield and constant Guard points. If you're not completely confident you can guard point 90% of incoming attacks I would advise at least Guard 3 with charged shield. At least then you won't get a hard knockback after every hit. Capacity Boost is always good to have for CB because it increases the amount of phials which means more damage output overall. Focus is more of an optional skill in my opinion. If you want to charge your phials as quickly as possible with very little effort then Focus is the way to go. After two charged cross slashes and shield bashes you'll usually be capped off. Artillery is also a great skill to mention if you're using Impact Phials. It increases the overall damage of the Phials themselves making your SAED and Savage Axe combos much stronger. Now speaking of sets for monsters it all depends on their weaknesses and what you aim to do. Look up a few things on Google on CB builds for certain monsters or even a specific CB all together. Good luck 👍😁

The thing that's always so difficult about mhw is that the monster ai is specifically programmed to be hard to predict. These are wild animals you are fighting and Capcom did a hell of a job replicating that level of instinctual chaos.
Yeah. After 4U and Gen, World really felt much more like a "natural" game, where the monster AI is a lot less predictive. A lot can still be predicted, but I remember the jump in AI depth to be very much confusing at first.
Me thought that bloopers mean missing attacks, missing dodges, missing timings... Eri N thinks that bloopers mean not getting into the right flow to wipe a monster.
"Ah shit, I was an inch too far to the right so a single one of my phials missed detonating on the head, which, by my calculations, would have been enough to stun the monster so I could transition into Overcharge style for 3 rotations before flinch shotting when the agitator wears off in 9 seconds... Better restart the investigation"
level 19: just blocking incoming attacks with no ironwall jewel and no guardpoint and getting staggered level 20: activating savage axe and switching back to SnS mode while letting the battery hit 0
DM Almoni yeah the timing is unreal ,the animation is slow and it needs to be done even before the monster start its attack animation.....i think the savage gp is just for emergency like when you’re in the middle of savage axe animation then the monster suddenly hit you....it’s just not that practical to use than other gp
Savage axe gp is really only for covering your ass when you go for SAED at a bad time. For exapmle, odogaron just hit you with a retreating tail whip. You gp it and attempt to counter attack with a SAED but he's about to attack you before you can get it off. Savage axe gp.
Every guard point in CB have it's use more or less. While morphing into axe is great because it's fast and easy. Transforming from axe have GP at the end of animation so you need to predict what monster will do. But looking at monsters moveset it's not that hard. literally me lol
I know right, I was like lv 1 but with the sliding slash. God there is so much still to learn ^^
@@lueboytheman9508 Yes, cus of that thicc dmg. Easy 400 to 800 dmg (depends on how much vials I hit on him, ~400 being 2 and ~800 for all)
bloopers: *expects to see hunter getting ass beat*
what i got: *monsters getting their ass beat*
I dont care what your main is. You can't deny, Charge Blade has the most style
Yes i'd say CB is the most for style-points, but Longsword is my go to, to weeb out on monsters while the Sword Art osts are in the background
@@RealShojin same been using LS since freedom unite
@@senexiar HELL YEA BRUDDER
Every single weeb, including me who mains the almighty weebstick (LS) begs to differ.
While I am a longsword main, I love using the charge blade!

NAISUU!! THANK YOU!
THANK YOU KING
THANK YOU KING
You are the legend here!
@@bok4822 To thus day Raging Brachy can make me bite on his lil side steps and tag me.
Me thought that bloopers mean missing attacks, missing dodges, missing timings...
Eri N thinks that bloopers mean not getting into the right flow to wipe a monster.
ikr this video is too badass for a failure
"Ah shit, I was an inch too far to the right so a single one of my phials missed detonating on the head, which, by my calculations, would have been enough to stun the monster so I could transition into Overcharge style for 3 rotations before flinch shotting when the agitator wears off in 9 seconds... Better restart the investigation"
level 19: just blocking incoming attacks with no ironwall jewel and no guardpoint and getting staggered
level 20: activating savage axe and switching back to SnS mode while letting the battery hit 0
russ pc level 19 continued: AND losing a whole sharpness bar in the process
Can we make this into a series for all the weapons?
This is insane.
Yeah but Lance would only have like 4 stages. Stab Stab Stab Cancel...Stab....... Stab Hop Stab....
I'm not a fan of Lance but there would definitely be more than 4
@@GamerShowcaseWeekly no. No no. No no no....
Level 1 - Power guard
Level 2 - Stab Stab into Dash attack
Level 3 - Power Guard 2
Level 4 - Claw Counter Spam
Level 5 - double triple reverse dash attack
Sanguine Cretus
level 6- stab stab stab, sheath cuz monster keeps running too far, then back to some more stabby stab stabs

FYI: the monster is the guy with the Charge Blade. Impressive demonstration of knowledge, and fun to watch!!
Lvl 1-4
Me: nah anything above that must be a joke
Lvl 6 starts*
Me: (realises my iq isn’t high enough for this shit)
tbh savage axe gp is even less useful than draw gp
DM Almoni yeah the timing is unreal ,the animation is slow and it needs to be done even before the monster start its attack animation.....i think the savage gp
is just for emergency like when you’re in the middle of savage axe animation then the monster suddenly hit you....it’s just not that practical to use than other gp
I know it's "yeah, this guy probably have 1000 hours with it so it's easy for him". But it's just knowledge about monster and practice. Possible for everyone 🍻
Level 11 - petting poogie
That power..... that skill and patience it takes to pet poogie.... IMPOSSIBLE!
Jesus man, I'm still struggling to hit my guard points, and you're throwing stuff at me I've never even heard about.
Overcharged slashes? Slinger axe comb? Savage Morph GP!?
This shit is just too much... back to the training room for me.
