Thanks man, when you're settling up a pressure washer trailer and you're plumbing everything yourself for the first time even the simplest things can seem confusing 🤣 thanks
Another option I recommend instead is to use 3/4" Poly Braid from your pressure washer to your hose reel. no point in going 5/8th since your going to need to upgrade once you upgrade your Pressure washer to a higher GPM. Even with 3/4" I run into a few houses a month that the water supply is not the best and I run my 275gallon tank out of water with my 11+ gpm soft wash pump. Also I recommend getting rid of those small screens when you get a buffer tank just run a banjo strainer, they're a lot easier to keep rinsed out and provide better flow. If your don't do these things in the beginning you will be chasing the problem later in the future.
Dude you rock I literally was going crazy calling various people getting different explanations on how to do this. I have the same exact scenario and this helped a lot thank you! Keep the content coming!

So I am assuming you can hook the water direction up either way on hose reels? I always thought the water supply went in the side of the reel and then you pull out the hose from the reel to use
@@AustinDavis24 so you are running the supply hose to the spigot, for window cleaning you would run a hose from the spigot to the reel and then pull your supply hose out and connect to your waterfed pole. I am just wondering if the water is able to flow either way through the reel, allowing you to customize it to make it work for your needs
I plan on doing something exact to your setup but instead using the 1/2" NPT to 3/4" barb adapter fittings on both the inlet and outlet and just cutting both ends of hose and connecting to the barb with clamp..ill lose that extra filter screen but my pressure washer still has the one and its always worked well enough so far when only using a hose with no reel....however gaining a better connection to the reel that will probably hold up better than using the garden hose adapter which I feel will likely loosen up and leak...but either way gets the job done!. I agree though nobody has explained this on UA-cam and you was the first I found so Thanks for the content!
Can i use a regular garden hose 1/2 for softwashing? Will the bleach harm the hose?
