You should try Cigarettes and Alcohol from this same concert. Also Argentina has the best concert crowds in the world, check out AC/DC live at River plate (same venue, same year, 2009)
Hashimoto's Disease, but fortunately he is under treatment now. But I think the disease started more earlier his voice started became hoarse in late 1998 and in 2000 his voice changed drasticly and in 2002 his voice was compliteley different. Not talking about 2004 Glastonbury and 2006 Argentina (worse voice, a huge laryngitis). Anyway 2017 and on he is consistently good.
@@PeterPauls biblical? today? thats an insult to when he was actually biblical. im not trying to sh!t on liam. he's a legend. always will be. and im glad he sounds alright again, but alright isnt the same as biblical.
@@derkaiser1306 He is biblical my friend. His diseases, like Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and Hay Fever, lots of laryngitis and he still got it, especially the "down by the river thames" gig, that was great back in December. You don't know what you talking about. I would add, that yes he was better singer in his prime, but even though the lots of diseases, he still moves the crowd like no other performer in the industry, because he has his swagger and charisma. Back in 2017. when he sang Live Forever at the One Love Manchester charity concert, only his presence elevated the gig in a higher level. This is why he is biblical.
This song is about cocaine, however. ‘…When yr chained to the mirror and the razor blade.’ Dig me, mates? And the original line was ‘Need a little line to wake up, wake up.’ However, their producer recommended they change it to ‘Need a little TIME to wake up,’ to make it more radio-friendly.
🤣🤣 crowd surfing comment. My goodness you guys are hilarious. Being Argentina, there would have been a riot for sure if anything went awry. Loving your reactions to Oasis, haven't listened to them since their songs came out however these shows rock. Feel like I've missed out somewhat...

Y’all really need to check out Bring it on Down and Headshrinker. Two most punk Oasis songs. New to the channel and haven’t seen if y’all have done this yet but those two songs are a must. You guys will love it!
I did last week. Plus to react to the whole Maine Road 2nd night gig once they get 1000 subs. They like a bit of guitar, Swamp Song live should sort that right out.
The original lyric was a need a little line to wake up wake up, but had to change it to need a little time to wake up as they released this as a single and would struggle for radio plays due to the lyrics
At least you can interpret the songs meaning in a different way: "All your dreams are made When you're chained to the mirror like the razor blade Today's the day that all the world will see" When the song starts, it could mean the struggle of a working class men, who stands in front of the mirror, with a razor in his hand and struggle to start the day. So it is good that they changed that one word, because we know what it is about, but not everybody should know. This is why it's a great song.
If u watch “don’t look back in anger” from this gig - it’s one of the greatest performances from anyone ever of any song in history 😎👌 for me anyway! X 🎶🎶🎶💥❤️
I love your Oasis reactions! You should definitely watch the documentary 'Supersonic' from 2016. Probably the best portrait of Liam and Noel ever made. Two thumbs up!
Since you guys seem to be digging on Oasis, join the Reddit sub. It will really improve your appreciation of this epic band. I’m in NVa, glad to see some new people around here getting into the band.
there's a good video floating around UA-cam of Bohemian Rhapsody being sung by the 65,000 concert goers in the pre-concert period before Green Day was meant to play. Green Day recorded the whole performance of Bohemian Rhapsody in key on camera. If you want a good crowd reaction to music, check it out.
I believe the whole album is an intricate part of a story Noel was trying to say about sally, a girl that met in San Francisco and she was trying to convince him not to leave the band , it’s a three part story and every song tell us a clue. Therefore he decided to name the whole album what’s the story
Shattered watching, they do this they sing the guitars and dance like crazy, the worlds number one crowd still today with Liam 2022 cigs and alcohol the difference between North and South America is a “gulf”
This is probably the best Oasis' song, in MY opinion, and this gig was EPIC. Noel Gallagher once said this song was jus "a cinical song about drugs". Greetings from Brazil.
Liam suffered with his live performances towards the end. Glad he's seen a vocal coach since to try and get back to his best. Although it's never gonna be 96 era Liam it's not too far off!
I've never understood why people go to a concert and then they're just frozen I mean you pay for a gig then why don't you party Argentine audiences always party hard and enjoy the moment when the audience celebrates the band is on fire too
Watch any footage of South American football stadiums, their crowds don’t go to watch and clap, they go to participate and riots can happen. Referees need to know how to run fast sometimes

@@scottcoles6873 I am a drummer myself, I couldn't imagine being sacked like Tony then having to watch from sidelines. Alan White was their best one imo
Notice Liam's voice is not near as good here as it was from 94-99'. Liam kind of blew his voice out over the years plus he was doing tons of cocaine, smoking cigarettes, etc. It is well documented. U will find a noticeable difference between the early years and the later years (2000-2009). Anyone else agree?
Bad version to watch. Liam’s voice was straight garbage by this time. MG is one of their best songs, but if you watch anything past 2002/2003, it’s better to listen to Noel sing it, even though I think MG is better suited for Liam.

absolutely the best acoustic version, greetings from Córdoba Argentina !!!

if you want a suggestion. Setting Sun by The Chemical brothers feat Liam Gallagher
Setting sun by Chemical Brothers is writing and singing by Noel not Liam

That's a bucket list item for me. To see a gig at River Plate.
If you want liam in his vocal prime look up performances from 94 or 95. Another great song is coloumbia live by the sea version
95-97
Si se sorprenden por el público deberían de ver a ac/dc en river plate
2009 is way to late for live stuff, liams voice had gone, you need stuff pre 98 for liams best live vocals
99-2002 he was still great
@Dundej I think he sounds great. A bit shouty. But it's RnR not RnB. That's the point.
Main road live what a concert..

This is the song you can hear at the start and end of acquiesce, only it is a snippet of Noel playing the chorus with an acoustic.
Please react a Motley Crue in Argentina. Epic!
If you can, try to react to pre-2000 Oasis. Liam's voice lost something after that, but happily he sounds better than he has for 15+ years right now.

I think the best version of Morning Glory is at Roskilde in 1995.

Liam was really struggling at this gig
Only with the more singy songs.... They closed out with I am The Walrus, which caught Liam at his petulant best!
