  • In this episode, I am riding from Oaxaca in Mexico to Puebla. What starts out as a lovely day riding dirt roads in the mountains, quickly changes when I get to the main highway which turns out to be blocked by people with guns.

This is a goodwill journey! We see many acts of courtesy and respect along the road. Little things like closing and securing the gate, finding money and returning it, kindness to animals - heartwarming. For this, Noraly, we thank you. 😊

See your video brought me to tiers! My little 3-year-old boy was watching with me I saw tears coming down my cheeks and said what happened, papa? I explained a little bit about home and he hug me and said it's okay papa I love you! Thank you for sharing! Thank you!

Yes in all the world travellers vlogs I’ve watched most important take away is what ever you do don’t get involved in local politics no matter how tempting it is, even here in my home in NE Thailand it is very common discussion amongst foreigners and I make a point of avoiding any discussion about the ways and habits of locals no matter how one personally feels, after all you are a guest in their country. Brilliant episode loved the drone shots, perfect music for the mountains.

Hi Noraly, Now that I have my CRF 300L Honda similar to "Alaska" I watch your videos with extra interest to enjoy how you ride, where you ride and the road surfaces you encounter. I only acquired my Honda less than one week ago. I have ridden it twice so far covering about 15 miles altogether. I am anxious to ride it much more but I am waiting on a lowering link that I ordered to arrive. The little Honda is a bit too tall for me to ride it safely. It is better to lower it to avoid dropping the motorcycle. I like to be able to get both my feet flat on the ground but at 5'-10" tall my legs are too short to manage that with the Honda at factory height. In the meantime I ride my X300 Kawasaki Versys. It is such a joy. If the CRF 300L Honda offers as much joy I fear my face will split from smiling so much. I am 68 years old but still get so much pleasure from owning and riding my motorcycles. I'm reminded of this commercial each time I see the rider, Noraly here, doing this exact same thing - respecting the ride.
There are things, certain aspects of the ride, the road, the lady and the bike I would enjoy knowing. Yet that may hinder the magic of not knowing just watch and enjoying what is presented in this old style adventure story.

As a geologist im always out prospecting in the Sonoran Desert, mainly Arizona but yes id agree Mexico is a pretty place but you gotta be on your toes. I never head out in the desert unarmed, it saved my life 4 years ago.
