I've had the same problem twice. Only one left a negative feedback & of course Ebay sided with the buyer & wouldn't remove it. Luckily, it's been over a yr ago. I'm like you, I wash everything before I mail it.
+dixiegirl999 It's really hard to get eBay to side with sellers. I wish it wasn't like that. It's best to message the buyer and be apologetic and see if they will remove the negative feedback. Offer refunds if that's what it takes. I've had to do that before and it worked.

It's usually not the smoke that causes the smell it's the ashtray with cigarettes in it left out that causes a smell! Printed poly bags! I don't know about the plain ones but a lot of plastic bags! Smell like a fresh tobacco shop! Take out your garbage bags put your nose in it you'll see what I mean! I'm up against this right now I bought these beautiful poly bags and some smell worse than others! They all smell like a fresh tobacco shop and I have to text people ahead of time to let them know! I couldn't understand why I was getting bad feedback! I kept smelling this! I'm standing line at the post office and I said to her young men so smell like smoke to you this is no smells like a fresh tobacco shop and sure enough that's what it was! So it's either the plastic recyclable plastic ink or where they're made!
