- Hello everyone! Привет всем! Today I'm offering you to learn russian through a story. This is an ancient Chinese tale and I hope you will enjoy your time spending with it and grab some vocabulary practicing your listening and speaking.

Good lesson, but this method would be made much better by introducing a key vocab list and a quick test on it prior to reading the story. Love the fact that you have comprehension questions at the end :)

Пожалуйста!Словарь is a dictionary. Vocabulary is "словарный запас(words storage)", но обычно мы говорим "слова". С большим количеством новых слов. Отличная работа, Крис!

Всегда пожалуйста! I think there is some sense in dialogues either. They are good for grasping useful phrases. But, yes, I'd love to have a book with interesting and comprehensible stories in the foreign language I acquire.

I think that's what I have been missing, why it's taken me so long to understand. Normally, I would just watch and read a TPRS one time and then moved on to the next.

Yes, that's the point of the storytelling method. You're not gonna try to understand it at once, but rather enjoy a story and let your brain feel comfortable with the target vocabulary. It has to be put deeply inside not by drilling, but in a natural way so you are able to respond automatically. It's not easy to apply all aspects of this method on UA-cam, but I wanna try anyway, just because it rocks! And you can also download the audio file in order to set your eyes free:)

I felt really crappy about myself when I didn't understand it, but now I'm happy because I don't know half of the words! My main focus right now is understanding spoken words, and of the words that were spoken that I knew, I recognized like 90% of them!

Дай мне, пожалуйста, совет. У нас новые студенты, и они все в шоке, потому что русский такой великий и могучий. И трудный, конечно. Я готов помочь им в учебе, но они уже не хотят заниматься. Они всегда скучают по а.я, который (наверное) проще. Что я могу им сказать, чем я могу им помочь? Бывшим я показал твои видео, и им нравятся. Но с новинками я пока не знаю что делать. Жду твоего совета. Заранее спасибо.
Привет, дорогой вьетнамский друг Тхань!:) Больная неделя - это ты имеешь в виду, что ты болел? Тогда лучше сказать вернулся после "больничного (отпуска)". Или просто "я недавно поправился.
Я очень надеюсь, что скоро у меня будет видео со Стивом Кауффманом и я хочу попросить его рассказать как не сдаваться, если трудно.
Моё же мнение не слишком оригинальное - нужно найти мотивацию и интерес. Не нужно слишком много грамматики и пытаться понять всё сразу. Надо быть готовым к "долгому путешествию", которое не пройти, если ты не получаешь удовольствие. Поэтому нужно больше простых понятных материалов, больше повторений, меньше зубрёжки (drilling). Ещё полезно ставить перед собой доступные цели, небольшие цели и добиваться их. Например, выучить какое-то количество слов через месяц. Или научиться понимать какое-то видео через две недели. Смотреть на прогресс и сравнивать себя с собой, а не с другими людьми. Конечно, вьетнамский и русский очень разные, поэтому я понимаю как это тяжело учить русский, так как сам учу китайский:)

Спасибо, Макс. Сегодня у меня буду занятие с ними. Я передам им твои слова и посмотрим, что получится. Наши учителя искали и искали лучшие пособия для начинающих, но не нашли. Один слишком простой, другой слишком трудный. Дорога в Россию вроде лучший вариант, но они думают, что материалы в этом пособие уже не современные 😂 Но лучшего пока не нашли.

Всё-таки, я нашёл очень интересную китайскую поговорку: 赠人玫瑰,手有余香 zèng rén méi guī shôu yôu yú xiāng Дарящий человек розу, (у него) руки имеется сладкий запах ! По моему, это имеет смысл нежности. Китайцы, наверное, особенный народ!

Я слыхал эту историю немного по-другому : Принцесса Си Ши родилась с гайкой вместо пупка. Когда ей исполнилось 16 лет, она пришла к родителям и спросила - зачем у нее гайка вместо пупка ? Они сказали, что не знают. Тогда она пошла по Поднебесной и спрашивала у всех - зачем у нее гайка вместо пупка ? Никто ей не мог ответить на этот вопрос. Си Ши очень страдала от этой тайны.
В конце концов она пришла в Шамбалу к великому учителю Конфуцию. И Cи Ши спросила Конфуция - зачем у нее гайка вместо пупка ?
И Конфуций ответствовал ей : - Открути её.
Cи Ши стала крутить эту гайку, крутить и - открутила её. И у нее отвалилась жопа.
Пожалуйста, пусть еще приходят такие сказки
