I found him just few days ago, now i am listening his podcasts everyday about 3 hours. He is speaking so understandable, talking interesting subjects. Finally i found best way to learn Russian.
Max, With about 37000 subscribers all the words you speak are listened to thousands of times ,analysed and are repeated over and over. Watched this video first without subtitles and second time with English subtitles. Third time I plan to sit down with a notebook and will write all the new words, phrases and expressions in Russian. So you see the content you create helps greatly people like me not only as a listening practice but to learn and memorize new vocabulary. SO BIG THANKS. 😊

There is no such thing as" one size fits all". In my case it has been, learn new words every day, keep repeating them. And read a lot of stories in your target language. Stories are easy to remember and the new words used in them.

I suppose one of the reasons that I love learning languages is because it does help me keep my brain elastic and fluid, to exercise my mind since I don't like math or puzzles.
Very interesting for me, as a language teacher I really appreciate it. My daughter is bilingual and she has never had any problems with languages! ( But she has always had problems with maths, this may be the same problem of yours:you are the BEST Russian teacher and you love languages... I'm not good in maths either! Not everybody is gifted in everything. In my opinion: better to have these " social'nye svjazy" and empathy then having a " cold" computer instead of human brains...) P.s. Спасиьо! This is exactly why I began learning Russian! Well, I noticed I was unable to pay attention and unable to properly express many of my thoughts, so I began regular walks to the park to read books. Dostoevsky became my favorite for his depth of what it is to be human, but I felt I may be missing important nuances in reading an English translation. So, Russian lessons! I've been learning mostly with Duolingo, but enjoy watching videos like these, and reading interlinear books. Even though they are often much beyond my level, there is a great sense of satisfaction in completing a reading or video and having a general understanding. Plus, these have been great for training my eyes and ears; opportunities to converse Russian is rare here.

After two years, I must say that Russian needs a solid grammar background to be studied. Further needs a mother tongue teacher, because is unique with its concepts. Is not only a matter of grammatical constructs but also a way of thinking. Having said that, your video are the more stimulating conversational video I have eve watched. I totally agree with everything you said. After learning different languages I see difference. Few years ago I had to go to neurologist as my memory was getting worse. He advised me to do cross words or chess or learning another language. Crossword seamed a massive waist of time and chess bit boring so I started learning Spanish, then added French and recently Russian. We need to challenge our brain and body that is how the evolution prepared us for survival. Thank you for such a thoughtful content.

Being a polyglot definitely makes me a better poet and much better at wit and perhaps also at memory. I have been told I have a remarkably good memory and Chinese just boosted it. I don't really think those qualities are intelligence, but being able to make people laugh can certainly lead to nice places...
The structure of your speech is so excellent, i also love how you repeat words so that the speaker recognizes them the second time. Im studying your beautifull language for like 2-3 years now and i found myself a new teacher to subscribe to on youtube. Thankyou !

Я лично слушаю тебя, Макс, чтобы немного лучше выучить русский язык. Я выбираю одно из ваших видео и слушаю его много раз. Первый раз только слушаю. В остальное время ставлю скорость 0,75 и ты говоришь предложение, я нажимаю паузу и повторяю несколько раз. Проделав это от начала до конца, я иногда ставлю видео на нормальную скорость и пытаюсь одновременно говорить столько, сколько помню. На данный момент у меня нет друзей в России, которые хотели бы выучить греческий (я грек 😃), поэтому давайте сделаем видеозвонок. Этот метод лично мне помогает. Большое спасибо за вашу ценную помощь. Ты замечательный.

Я лично слушаю тебя, Макс, чтобы немного лучше выучить русский язык. Я выбираю одно из ваших видео и слушаю его много раз. Первый раз только слушаю. В остальное время ставлю скорость 0,75 и ты говоришь предложение, я нажимаю паузу и повторяю несколько раз. Проделав это от начала до конца, я иногда ставлю видео на нормальную скорость и пытаюсь одновременно говорить столько, сколько помню. На данный момент у меня нет друзей в России, которые хотели бы выучить греческий (я грек 😃), поэтому давайте сделаем видеозвонок. Этот метод лично мне помогает. Большое спасибо за вашу ценную помощь. Ты замечательный.

ok this helps me a lot, now it's been 7 months studying russian on my own. still difficult for me to express my self more confident with natives but , i can say that i understood the whole video even i was eith english subtitles (i am a native spanish spearker) i made myself to read less eveytime i was able to understand, thank youuu!!!
