This is the most effective method I have seen. Being interactive like this gives the words life and context. I can’t thank you enough for making these videos.
Hi Max, I just want to say thank you! As an English student learning Russian on my own, this is the most helpful listening comprehension video I have seen on UA-cam! The way you interact with the camera, use hand gestures, and ask comprehension questions makes your style extremely useful. You have earned a new subscriber, thanks again and cheers!
About a month ago I understood a few words and concepts from this video, but now, I understood all but four or five words (which the subtitles very helpfully explained). It's very exciting! At the same time, these videos are still pretty much the only thing I can parse. Thank you for making such a helpful video :)
Max, your spirit is amazing! I teach English, and I study Russian. Whenever things get difficult, it can be a challenge to find that positive attitude which I always preach about. "Practicing what you preach" can be a daunting task at times, but your videos provide me with that extra push which I sometimes lack. I hope to help others, as you have helped me. Maybe I will help you with English someday! :)
Wow, thank you, Gregory! Following your own rules can be really tough sometimes, however there's no other way to do what you believe in. Дааа, помощь с английским мне бы не помешала, ахах!))
I like how effective this is, it's very simple, it's like he is teaching a bunch of kids, what a great way to learn, I understand almost %90 of everything! :D
It is an old dream to learn Russian. I am a French and English speaker. Looking for lessons for complete beginner, I found your channel. I really love your method of learning! I am hooked. Let's the adventure begin! Thank you very much for having spent time and effort to put those videos online!
Bro this was formatted so well!! So easy to follow along and learn new words/concepts at the same time. Very engaging story and application. Спасибо большое💫
Please, make more videos like this! I've watched/listened to this video no less than 7 times in the past couple of days. Thank you for the great content.
This guys rocks :) His voice and energy constantly reminds me of the guy who did Cheburashka's dubbing in the "Cheburashka and the blunt" spoof, so when I hear Max it always cheers me up x'D
A very good video ! About 4 years ago I'm active studied Russian, just until Level 2 at local Russian course place and lack of speaking with native, but I'm still listen to Russian speaking channel (Russian24, etc) until this time. Now I found this channel.
Very good job, I'm eager to watch over all your videos. You're very effective to me concerning russian teaching. It's exactly what's needed for most of us! Большое спасибо.
Thank you so much for making these videos! I studied in Russia in high school (I'm American). But UA-camrs always intimidated me because they spoke too fast and it made me feel bad to not understand. It's so nice to watch your videos! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. You are very entertaining and funny, and make learning Russian fun. Keep up the great work, bro. Like someone else said in the comments, you have a lot of friends here.
Excellent...You are the best of all...Your way of teaching is so simple, interactive and spontaneous that i love it...Thanks for helping us with your valuable videos...I really need your guidance in learning Russian...
Max you are so good. You are beating all those grammar books and all those schools . Bravo Max! I am impressed. I hope the Russian Federation is funding you because you are such a good amabasador ;). Bravo Max!! Best wishes Max!
Hi, new subscriber here! I like how you use hand gestures to explain things. I'm very much a beginner and am yet to understand all the words, but I could somehow understand and link what you were saying based on the gestures, and that was so helpful!
Будильник: the part of the ( digital) alarm clock where you can set to wake you up with an irritatingly sharp sound in the very early morning is the BUZZER. And if you do not switch it off, it’ll do it again. As for the antique types of clocks the timer might be called BELL.
Max you are so awesome!!! This is the best method to learn! Therefore, you are the best! Балс....спасиба ahhh crap! ивините I dont know how to spell in Russian yet. Thank you soooooo much!
Будильник - alarm clock. I had to look up 'waker' to see if it's a word because we really don't use it, & waker means a person who wakes up. Example: He is an early waker. Wakeupper is not a word, but it's a very good guess as it sounds like words my kids would try to say at a young age. Actually, I think they all have tried saying this word 'wake-upper'. So, these words would probably be understood in context in English if you used them. I sometimes guess how to say words in foreign languages. For example, I might say Существительное глаголит что-то. Even though, I know that глаголить is not a word, but глагол is. I think this would still be understood.
Крег, глаго́лить - есть такое слово!:))) Например, 'истину ты глаголишь!' - you say the whole truth! Так что, да, абсолютно правильно, что ты так делаешь!) Ещё мы говорим так : Хватит разглаго́льствовать! Meaning Enough (stop) chit chatting!
Maks i have a question, in 5:58. What's the role of "Ли" in that sentence. I also hear russian people saying "Же" and some other short words, do they have a particular meaning? And can you make a video of them once, Thanks ^^
Привет, Закир! В этом случае ЛИ означает IF. Вот пара примеров. She was interested if she could read fast. Ей было интересно, может ли она быстро читать. What do you think if it's comfortable to live in this room? Что ты думаешь, комфортно ли жить в этой комнате? I'll think about making video covering this topic. Thanks for the question!:)
Thank you Zakir for asking about this word ли! It's hard for me to understand it's usage. It often translates in English as 'whether or not' or 'whether'. I hope to learn more about this word.
Max: "У меня мало енергии."
Also Max: *makes this video with tons of energy*
xDD меня заряжает то, что я делаю)))
This is the most effective method I have seen. Being interactive like this gives the words life and context. I can’t thank you enough for making these videos.
I'm soo happy to hear it, Mr. N :)
Agreed :-)
Same here you read my thoughts! An Amazing video! And so realistic that’s how you learn in real life.
Yes.
Hi Max, I just want to say thank you!

Great video for my A1 level. I understood most of the video. You spoke slowly and clearly, so subtitles weren't necessary. Thanks dude.
