Greg Wiseman said that Gwen wouldn't die in the SERIEs but he did heavily implied that she would during one of the direct to DVD movies and her death would be the catalyst to bring Peter and MJ together. I don't know if you heard but Wiseman did speak on Across the Spider-verse and he's stated that his version would never have joined Miguel's side and stood by while people are dying.
I've never heard him say anything that implied that Gwen was going to die and I've had to have listened to at least 24 hours of Greg Weisman interviews haha but maybe he was bamboozling us all along who knows Yep, I heard it's actually in my other iceberg

1. I love Scott Johnson's art, that used to be on most of my coloring books and stickers and all that just a lot of nostalgia. It was actually after season 5 that he would've gone to college and the direct to DVD movies were going to be his college years. I honestly wouldn't mind it but I will always prefer the style already in the show since it fits so well but I think it really depends if the characters are fluid and can move as fluid as they were in the Spectacular art style. 2. Do you mean Mysterio? I don't remember Green Goblin using bats. If you were talking about Mysterio then again I wouldn't mind I think that would be a cool nod to his other show
@@krispykrb7081 Green Goblin actually did use bats in the comics alongside his pumpkin bombs. Basically the bats in the show looked nothing like them and looked more like pumpkin boomerangs.

I heard some people like Spectacular Spider-Man as a Spider-Man show instead of other marvel characters guest starring in a Spider-Man show.

With Hobgoblin planned for the 3rd season, I suspect Harry as the Goblin would have been held for season 4 to avoid Goblin exhaustion. The Gargoyles crossover play ends on Emily playing him a tape of Norman giving him instructions on moving forwards that where not about the Goblin, and while its non-canon, the concept of a Florida arc was in the works so I could see something like being an element from the S3 plans. Said play also does have Harry put on the costume, which is a bit odd to happen so soon, but I figure they just needed an excuse for the Goblin to feature. As I remember almost every major villain gets a moment. As for who would be the S3 finale villain, I suspect it might have been Doc Ock as the final member of Spidey's three arch-nemesis. While Weisman has no involvement in ATSV, they did set up Ock and Captain Stacey as personal enemies. If Spectacular where to continue the philosophy of taking inspiration from the comics, then of course it would be Dr Octopus who kills George Stacey.
Interesting since I actually didn't finish the radio play myself but I do just for the facts video but yeah some small Flordia arc hints that I liked there. Not sure who would've been the season 3 main baddie I wish it would've been Carnage since Carnage is a crazy fucking villan and one of my favorite villans
