Redoing Everything because of YOU - Timberborn Update 6

  • Lots of great comments on Episode 2 that helped me redo large portion of my Timberborn Update 6 world. Redoing lodge area and making it more efficient. Now we have room for 100s of beavers. We are also redoing storage area for more food storage.

    I think you can stack over large piles if you use 2 high platforms and then use the new hanging platforms

    A tip for making the beavers close to food and water is to put 1 small warehouse and a small tank right next to a location and have them on pull supplies

    it would be great to utilize that big ridge that you have above the starting district center. you could build some houses or warehouses under the stairs leading up to it and get rid of many buildings that are standing on precious farmland, which is essential on this type of miniature map. Also placing few buildings on platforms in river is strategy too.

    13:26 The right most overpass can be simplified. Instead of going up, down, then up again, on the power line, it can turn left and head straight, continuing to the road with the hauling post.
    Also, the power line is taking up space between the plank factory and the metal block factory.

      That was a choice made in earlier episode because of the cost

    Enjoying this series so much I've started the map.
    I wouldn't worry about bad water contamination by the sluice gates, I've not noticed any delay in water coming through the sluice when a badtide ends.
    I put waterwheels in the flow near the water & bad water sources, so we can keep working during the badtides. Currently adding windmills but they are an inconsistent back up.
    There isn't a lot of green land so I've tried to move all the buildings off it, like putting water pumps, farms & the forrester onto platforms on the river, industry & storage near the power sources.

    If you cluster the decorations between the houses as close as possible, then all beavers get multiple bonus while sleeping.

    If you put a couple of 2 high Floodgates right there after the water pump and the Showers you could hold a lot of water. It will help to keep your crops and trees green for longer.

      U6 basically eliminated floodgate use cases with sluice gates.

    put inventors on the top of the living huts so they will represent something like a roof

      Could also build a normal roof decoration, or don't they add to the wellbeing?
      I keep on forgetting which decos do and don't add to wellbeing...

      @@itszeeeti Also, you can build to schlooses right in front of, and right behind the main water source, and upscale the dam that you already have. so that it will be filled all time, and when the bad water comes, your schools in front of water source will close up, and the one behind will open. And the dam filled with clear water will remain open. This way you will have water for droughts and bad ties, but when the bad water comes it will fall of the map as soon as it comes out of water source, without infecting your dam full of clean water.
