I wish more artists posted videos like this. I learn far better by watching a full uninterrupted process than the step by step tutorials. You get a more natural feel for the flow and decision making and you get to see when things aren’t perfect first time. Videos like this always make me want to pick Nomad up again
Thanks so much for the positive feedback. These videos are certainly much easier for me to make, and like you, I tend to learn and appreciate this sort of method more than step by step as well.
Thanks UJ! Simple is definitely something I was going for. I may put the model up on Cults3d. Let me know if you might want to print one and I'll gladly hook you up ;)
not for this one unfortunately. Take a look at my recent Deku video as I go through my typical Blender process there- pretty much the same sorta effort here.
incredible! I've loved watching you sculpt Taran from the Black cauldron as well. I'll have to go back and find others of your videos! is there a video where you share how to create your deep cut brush, or the one you were using for the creases? I've been wrestling with making one, but haven't like what I've come up with... thanks again! wonderful!
Thanks! Yes- I've got a "Shorts" video about making the sharp brush, but really it is just the default brush and I just change it to a sharp falloff- nothing fancy.
THIS IS PROBABLY SO SIMPLE, BUT HOW ARE YOU ISOLATING THE OBJECT YOU'RE SCULPTING? PLEASE TELL ME I am not yelling, my caps lock was on and I'm too lazy to go back now.

This was so cool to see the entire process of the sculpt. And love how you kept it pretty simple

Impressive. Going to show my son this tomorrow. We love watching sculpting videos and of course we’re a big fan of Zelda too 👍🏽
Awesome! A great pairing then!

Love your work, man. Very inspiring. I'm taking some notes for my own cartoon-looking sculptures.
Looks great! do you have any plans on showing us how you do the Blender Render?

Do you know how fast I clicked this video? I haven’t even blinked yet and I’m posting a comment 😂
Thanks for the video. It’s great!
Also what program did you used to the the thumbnail render? It looks incredible!
Thanks! The final render was done in Blender.

Haha hit the Solo button at the bottom left :)
thank you, i love you! @@eric3dee
Are you working from reference for this? And if so are there multiple views
No reference other than the old Link art. I didn't sketch this type beforehand or anything, I just design as I go really.
@@eric3dee thanks for the fast reply! Great vid and loving your other videos!
@@looeehg2490 thanks!
