    Great recipe! Just made this milk and then used some of it to make some delicious spelt flour pancakes. I have a lot of oats that I need to use up and this will be my new plant based milk. Quick and easy to make.

    Thank you, this is great. I returned my Almond Cow after watching your video. I am Team Vitamix. What type of strainer are you using? Is it a fine mesh strainer?

      @angela Hood. I was considering buying a Almond Cow, but since going on the Starch solution diet, I figured I don’t need the nut milks, so I decided to look up oat milk that I could make in my vitamix, and voila! Thank you George Gee for making this video!

    The only thing I want to know is I didn't get back into the blender with water, wouldn't that dilute it

    Does this have to be consumed immediately or can I store in the fridge? Also how long can it stay good in the fridge.

    Can I ask why you discarded the water? Couldn't you just put the oats in water in the blender to soak?

    • @liviidae
      @liviidae 3 роки тому +3

      I belive soak to get rid of tge stuff that can make it slimy, but as far as I know you're NOT supposed to soak because it will make it slimy too

  • @iheartherbs

    May as well just put all 4 cups of water kind of waste of time to do it in 2 parts.

    • @mykarma2
      @mykarma2 Рік тому +1

      I think doing it using two cups will allow it to strain easier and faster and get more milk. When I make nutmilk, I've always drained all four cups at once, but the reside blocks the milk on top. I'll know which one is faster in about an hour.
