Keven Brownlow wrote an outstanding book about making Unknown Chaplin. It's called, "The Search For Charlie Chaplin." It's quite a story that will have you on the edge of your seat. It's a must read for Chaplin fans.
I would never listen to someone else's music for a Chaplin film that he himself wrote music for. Some jerk might as well say, "I wrote new music for E.T., and I would like to have a print of the film so that I can perform my score with it." GET OUT OF HERE!!! Chaplin's films that he scored only work with his music. The most I would like to see are his silent films that he had compilation scores prepared for, but I know this wouldn't work, because those compilation scores were for longer edits of the films. I am reading the book The Music of Charlie Chaplin, and it is such a joy to read!
Spencer that was the best one of your interviews, for me personally, so far. Although all of your guests have been passionate, most were very informative, and almost all are true lovers of the art of your grandfather, but this one I must reiterate touched me the most. Thank you once again.

I had the pleasure of taking Kate and Chaplin author Lisa Haven to the Magic Castle in Hollywood one evening several years ago. Kate was so fun and kind. It was nice to finally make it to Chaplin's World this summer.
Another great interview! I was at the Chaplin/Keaton/Lloyd Alley dedication ceremony in Hollywood last week. It was nice to say hi to your sister. David Totheroh (Rollie Totheroh's grandson) was there. I would think he would make an interesting interview.
Just watched u an Ur Dad tour home new too channel it’s Amazing how much u all look like Charlie Chaplin I’m 60 he was before my time but I’ve always know who he was such Brilliant Man ahead of his time
Unknown Chaplin an amazing documentary ... I remember patiently waiting for it to come out. I go to every live orchestra performance I can.
