This quick 20 min core flow can be done alone or combined with any other of my yoga sessions. For example, with hip mobility or lower body one! Share with me your thoughts after the session - all your beautiful messages and comments mean a lot to me and motivate me to continue sharing yoga on this platform 🌊 Thank YOU!
Great session, as always :) I love that I always learn a new move with you! One small suggestion: if you are using any props during the session, could you please mention it at the start, so that I can make sure it is handy. Thank you!
Thanks Joanna for your comment and for practising together! And yes, absolutely - will try my best to remember to mention what props will be needed for the session🙈 🙌🏾
Found your channel very recently. I’ve done a yoga practice / shown up on my mat every single day for the past (almost) 3 years and climb maybe 3 - 4 times a week. No one seems to really talk about the subtle body quite like you!! Finding your channel has been absolutely amazing. Thank you so so so much
Feeling happy to read your comment, Anais. I'm so glad that you came across my channel and that you have been enjoying the sessions🧡 Means a lot to me and inspires me to continue sharing them online✨
yay, I loved this flow too, Leva! I appreciate that you focus on breath, wrist warm ups, mental strength, and mindfulness. I would love another video on flows that can keep climbers in shape (strong shoulders, strong back, strong hips) during lock-down!
Smiling to read your comment, Anna. These videos also helped me a lot during the lockdown, I'm grateful that they were beneficial to others as well. Do you have your favourite session so far? If so, which one is it? Oh, and another video is coming next week!
Thank you for this class. Eye opener - my core needs more attention ☺️ Couldn’t do all the exercise without a rest in between but that will be my goal! 😃 🙏 Love the fact that it’s a short lesson so I can always combine it with another class 👍 Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Great job, Esther! And absolutely, coming back to the same routine is a great idea, the more we do the postures/moves, the easier and more familiar they will become. You got this🔥
Thanks for practising together! And don't worry that you haven't finished this time. It's harder to practice online, than in real life. Hope you come back to some of the sessions again in the near future!! :)
I did :) done it like 5 times now. I Guess its Part of my workout Routine now. Did you also got someting for arm and Hand strenght, espacally for climbing ?
Smiling to know that you have done the session many times, Erica. Amazing! I will definitely make another one for the core, thanks for the suggestion 🙌🏾 Should be coming soon ☺️
Awesome how so few "reps" can make me shake when I focus on my breath instead of doing 5 sets of whatever reps of a random core exercise..thanks for a great session, again:)
Yesss, so crazy! 😅 Glad you liked the session! And! Thanks for your comment, Kuba. I really enjoy reading comments from people who do my sessions (it motivates and inspires me to continue sharing this content here) and it also helps with the UA-cam algorithm. This way YT might share the video with more people 🙈
Thanks for practising with me, Ana! And yesss, the pants are so comfy, and quite old! I purchased them in a local market in Indonesia. and the top is a lululemon one 💚
Thank you :) I like the shorter routines and this still has couple of intense holds. Had never done the combo with the block around min 7 - good one! P.S. You look very calm and good in the the blue pants and top combo ;)
Yeah, shorter routines are great to incorporate when we are in a hurry. Even though it's only 20 min, it can still be quite intense. Also! Awesome, that the move around min 7 was a new one for you. I like to add some movements that might surprise another person. And, thank you, happy to know that I looked calm in this video. Finally I'm starting to feel more comfortable talking in front of the camera and sharing yoga in an empty room 🙈 🌝🙏🏽
Great workout, but climbers need strength and ability to move while maintaining a strange, short-lasting position, this is much more core endurance-focused. so while this helps it is much more general and not really that helpful for climbers.. anyway thanks for sharing !
Thanks Fernando for sharing your thoughts! Yoga won't help us to climb several grades higher if we only do yoga and nothing else. Same applies to this core flow. It might however help to improve stability in our core (which some people might or might not lack). By stability I mean holding our bodies in a tensed position, whether it's static stability (for example: clipping the draw) or dynamic (reaching a handhold). It might also help to improve the awareness of our body and it's movement in space, in the context of core - the awareness to switch on the muscles when we are climbing. Indeed, to build core strength for climbing - more advanced core workouts are needed where the focus is on progressive overload and on high load/intensity/difficulty (hanging leg raises, front lever or its progressions etc). Nevertheless, over the years of learning I do believe that yoga is helpful as well as complements and benefits climbing ✌🏽 ☀️ Thanks for practicing with me on this session! 🙏🏽
