I was there in the Zhangjiajie Park area two weeks ago, with my 86-year-old dad. He might be the oldest guy there then. More than a few people who marvelled at the scenery also marvelled at him walking on the mountaintops, with a cane in his hand. Great experiences. Foreigners were few and far in between, but I did cross paths with Russians, Germans and Africans. In Canada now, but planning to go back there someday and spend more time there.

It is very hard for people from Canada to imagine the scale of mass of people in any given time and in any location in China not to mention in popular travel destinations such as this national park. I am so glad that you have made your trip to this incredible scenery location. I am so amazed by the infrastructure that have been built in many of the popular scenery and hard to get to destination. Because of this, people are able to reach to and witness some of the most spectacular sceneries and landscapes that you would not be able to get to them if there is no such infrastructures built.

That said, I’m in the same place as you about high places and what made me less jittery about it was the beautiful views, all the attractions and it must be said the glass bridge was the highlight of the experience. Alina, now its true given your impressions of Tianmen Mountain, with the limited time you have in China, you’re probably wishing you could stay longer and properly see everything the country has to offer but that’s not possible in your current circumstances. Excellent footage ! By the way, glass or Silica as it is known (SiO2) in its basic chemical formula is such a diverse platform, and depending of the processes that we put it though, it could be very strong and durable indeed. For example, fiberglass is a derivative of glass which is used in boatbuilding, or Pyrex which can withstand high temperatures. Have fun!

Hi, Alina, come across you YT video on your China travel experience by chance - they are very good videos indeed. Many thanks. Great to see you're enjoying the trips very much. Congratulations. However, if you intend to enjoy more fully on travelling in China in future - I think, it is worth of taking a tour guild for most of the Chinese tour sites. The reason is that China is very unite in this world - the only one surviving ancient civilisation in remained in this world. Its culture is extremely rich, and most of its tourist sites are long being discovered by ancient Chinese, and are having a lots of cultures and old stories associated with them. Hence as a foreign people to visit them, if there is a Chinese tour guild to explain the stories associated with those sceneries and sight seen sites, it will make your tour far more interesting then just looking at the sites themselves at their surface value... Cheers, Liqun (from UK)

China is a developing major country that still needs to continue to progress. However, it is important for everyone to have a correct understanding of it, rather than blindly following the malicious distortions and attacks based on ideology by Western media. This is not conducive to the progress of the world and humanity.

wow I saw this place in one of the transformer movies. I thought it was all CGI. I wasn't aware it a real place until now, just beautiful.

Great video! Love the booties for the glass walk. You did the reverse route that I did. Stairs were open I climbed up all 999 of them. Going down that gondola into the city at sunset was amazing and then explore and eat 😁😁

Never been in mainland China primarily due to the perceived rules and restrictions. You seem to be freely moving around and being able to do as you please which is great. Can work around most languages to sort out where and how to go without too much trouble, but would be clueless with Chinese. Such glorious natural landscapes. Very impressive walkways around the mountains, phenomenal infrastructure and the facilities nicely laid out. Wonderful 🌹15kms a good effort for the day.

What an incredible video. Good job. Looking forward to more videos from your China series. Planning to go to China in autumn for a month tour. Have to change my itinerary to include Zhangjiajie after watching your videos. Its impossible to cover China in a month. So planning to go multiple times. Your videos really help in my planning. God bless.

I remember the last time visit Tianmen Cave, still need to take the bus, through that crazy winding road...My mom was scared lmao.
The bus was about leaving at 4pm or we would miss the plane(or train?).
And I decided to climb to the cave at 3pm. Though time was quite dangerous, I still thought I need a try. The going up part is not that hard when you were in a high mood.
    Going up:30min
    Taking pictures:15min
Going down should be faster, I thought.
But! The route is not a slider, when you go out too fast, your knees will be very uncomfortable. I used 10min to go down and felt my knees got fired, and hardly could not catched the bus cuz the last 5min journey on flat ground almost exhausted my strength.
I suggested every visitor reserve enough time for yourself to have a pleasant whole journey.
P.S:It was still pleasant, except the knee part:D
