@@AlinaMcleod Great crossover! I've always wanted you to do a crossover with Alan McLeod from MintPress News -- Maybe he's even friemds with @Reporterfy You should visit Alex Christoforou in Cyprus, too!

P.S. there's another Alexander -- AnalogInsight's Alexander in Munich, who resembles Tom Baker, the Fourth Doctor Who. Since you resemble the First Romana, the two of you could make a mini late-70s Dr Who episode.
I have been to China so many times. You really appreciate the changes and progress of the country. If you have not been to the same cities for ten years, you will see there are big changes. I have friends that had come to visit China 20 years ago, they thought China is still the same as 20 years ago because they trust the media 100 %. I just told them to go back and visit these places again to see the reality.
China changes so fast that people don't have time to realize it's leaving us in the west out in the dust with our government's outdated cold war attitude.
Same with my gf. Went 7 years ago and thought it was still the same.
Took her to Hainan and Xiamen for Easter and she was blown away!
She is now organising for a summer trip to Shanghai with her parents.

It's rare to see all three of you at the same time. Hi, guys!
During World War II, Chongqing was the wartime capital of China. China was the first country to confront the fascist country Japan. Later, after the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union, France, and the United States became bombing targets, they became China's allies against the fascist Axis powers.
Historical knowledge: The Republic of China was the Chinese government at that time

Historical knowledge: Republic of China under KUOMINTANG is the first world largest Democracy country. After they lost the civil war, KUOMINTANG too is the party that burned down all farmer crops and gun thousand mainland Chinese on public road while fleeing to an island called Taiwan. Matter fact, the act of burning down the crop is also one of the factor contributing to the huge famine disaster.
@@DJs021 Yes, according to history, Taiwan is just one of the provinces of China
Well China didn’t “confront” japan until 1937, 6 years after japan invaded China and after they have taken Peking Manchuria and the northern plains. They were very passive

@@ColdHardToronto It's really sad, you think that what they say about China is all about collecting money, what about you?
I have not watched your videos for a long time but this one caught my attention - even though I have already watched a ton of Chongqing videos. This vlog has everything - the glowing, cyberpunk skyline, the 'ciy square' 20 stories off the ground, the traditional, old part of town 'with Tim Horton's(!), the skywalk, dinner with night view, and the spicy sundae to top it off! What a coo (or hot) idea - I think it could be Chongqing's signature. Anyway, more Chongqing videos, please! I think it's far more intriguing than China's more well-known destinations.
Thanks! I already made one prior Chongqing video before this 🙂 next up is Chengdu!
@@AlinaMcleod Yes, I just saw them (aren't there two?) but haven't watched them yet! I guess I can't get enough of Chongqing! I don't know if it's the fact that it's so vertical (or vertigo, like when you walked on the roof of that skyscraper) or that it's relatively unknown, but it's piqued my interest! It's kind of like the Toronto of China, I think. Huge, inland, often overlooked but having a big identity. :)
Wonderful experience in Chongqing, Chongqing has a name as mountain city also
