  • The Pilates Introductory routine is a great all around total body workout. It's important to go slow and take time to learn to properly engage the core in all the exercises even if you're athletic or advanced in Yoga or other disciplines. Even if you aren't a beginner you're going to get a great workout and get back to some of the fundamentals.

    I’ve been doing pull ups and hanging crunches on my iron gym for the past ten years and I’ve noticed how it’s starting to hurt in a bad way. I’ve started doing this and it feels amazing! I’ll be replacing Pilates with my pull up bar routine from now on

    I’ve been doing a lot of weight training the last years and felt that I need a new inspiration in sports.
    I found that inspiration definitely in yoga and with the help of Tim and his folks it’s absolutely great to get into it.

    this was so enjoyable compared to the tons of other ab workouts I have done where the entire focus is on repetition rather than control and range of movement!! loved this video :)

    Loved this - I have suffered from a back issue for a while and in fact have been advised by my physio to reduce the yoga and up the Pilates - this was just perfect, Thank you!

    This video is great but the saw / construction noise in the back is overly distracting. I'v noticed things like this in a few of the newly filmed

    Thanks for a Pilates workout. Love this. I am not into Yoga although I would participate in class as part of my job. Tim has the qualities of my ideal Pilates instructor!

    This is my first time doing pilates. I always wonder how different it is than Yoga. The one from minutes 13 is essential for a better kick in TKD! Thank you again tim! Can't wait for more videos!

    It's evident that I need more core work. I'll browse your channel for a few more. The engineer in me laughed at the 2, 4, 6-in when I saw your legs going up 6, 12, 18-in. It's a good workout none the less.

    Good workout. For standard yoga poses I wish you mentioned what the pose is instead of giving direction of what to do with the body. I find it confusing and have to constantly check back to the video for things I already know if you mentioned "boat pose" "cat, cow" etc. instead.

    I follow you since the 30 day Challenge and I am so thankfull for all your work you did! It really helped me to find a nice balance to all my other sports and studying!
    One small question: when i am lying on the side in this video for all the leg workout, my hip muscles i am lying on starts really to hurt. What i am doing wrong? What could i improve?

    I love you and your videos. Sometimes I try others, but I always come back to yours. .... for along time now.... I enjoy the most the total body workouts for approx.30 minutes. Those fit perfect in my daily routine and I feel well toned and stretched!

    Tim! I've been focusing on yoga for a few months and forgot how great pilates was for my hips, thighs, and core. This killed me. It was like day zero. I swore at you a bit (in the most zen way possible) :P Thanks for keeping it real in coreland. You crack me up when you admit how agonizing it is! Namaste!

    Ever since isolating my Physio recommended to watch Pilates stuff. I broke my pelvis August 23rd 2019 after getting hit by a car. So yeah

    I really love this work out. Tim’s instruction is very clear and thoughtful. His voice is so soothing! And the garden behind him looks tranquil and gorgeous. It is a beautiful experience. I haven’t seen new videos by him recently on this channel but I’m hoping he might have an instagram or something.
