The last two seasons of PD have been lacking. This show’s central character is Voight and he has not been very visible. This season is what the show used to be - case based stories with Voight as the central character. Loved every show this season! Sadly, Voight has lost another person in his life. He seems to have formed a friendship with Chapman and that’s good.
More disturbing to this is the fact that this killer is literally a real sadist. Like I don’t know why, but I find him similar to the tapeworm from the irreversible
Yessss!! CPD needs at least 6 more officers/detectives. We've had a number of commanders but one lieutenant (Denny Woods). We need new people and storylines.
Yes, they've lost A LOT of key team members, and the show has changed significantly as a result--not for the better, unfortunately. But I still adore Jason Beghe and I think the other team members are very good actors, so I still watch the show in hopes that something will change to make the show as good as it was, or at least better than I think it is now.
I'm so pissed off at this episode. The ending was absolutely so unnecessary, predictable and repetitive. The entire episode was so good and then you had that BS ending. It's old and contrived and yes I'm angry because the writing was so good just to fall back on the same ole BS.
Apparently it falls back to a desperate boy, who believed that his boyfriend was dead then suddenly I don’t know where he gets a text instead of calling he still answers the text believing he’s alive, but it was all a trick. I mean yeah what I found absolutely crazy even right now. Hank literally knows it’s BS. I mean common sense even somebody of his generation should know that. Desperate to see in here in person instead of just calling that number that’s texting him. It would’ve been obviously clear that he’s being led into a trap which happened. poor Noah he literally was believing that everything that happened to Paul and him was punishment of him coming out as gay. I mean, at least Hank told him that wasn’t his fault and gave him. You know reason to keep his spirits high. But yeah, this was a pretty tragic way to go. It’s almost like I’m a Kelly Severide where he’s literally struggling to find love, and even suffering when he finds happiness and loses it.
@@calm1047 I dont understand how you dont see that im pissed that the character died in this way for no absolute reason besides the writers have a side character death fetish that is predictable and cheap. Anna is another one. They do the same thing with children. If you're a child shot in the first 5 minutes (even if its nonlethal) youre dead. Its dumb and terrible writing
Ok now I see why voight doesn’t get close to people. Ever time it happens they died
Sometimes they live but they leave like his daughter-in-law and grandson.
@@rorimorgant.williams6647 And Erin!
That's why when Voight give dem his justice,I love it.

Yes finally we got a new detective to replace Hailey, detective Jo petrovic
Are you sure about that? How would you know? Even if she’s gonna be on the show, she’s probably gonna disappear like when we had Andre Cooper
You are right, I'm sure.
Oh my god those eyes
what is it with those eyes? giving me ptsd
the murderer stapled their eyelid so they cant close their eyes.
He's a sadistic guy. He tortures them by and made them to witness tutored.
That is so disturbing, hopefully this isn’t something happened in real life
I hope Chapman and Voight get together
Wottt😭
You're going to jail Mac daddy 😂

One of the most cursed persons on TV .
What season and what episode
What episode is this?? The only people I know of that were found in a barrel were Noah and Paul, in episode ? 7 (season 11).
He didn't VOIGHT deserve this NOAH didn't either!!!
This reminds me of that movie Megan is Missing
Now There’s a smart way to hide a body
Who two bodies were in the drums?

I understand your reaction. I've been disappointed in the writing for a while.
Agreed
The episode is a continuation of the story! I don't understand why you don't see that?
