Could you have used a steel plate in place of the wood? Like a floor sandwich - so you have steel on either side of floor? The thing you copied (the tie-down I think) looked like it went through steel. Thanks
Ok I have a question lol I seen u have your wires running from the battery to the outside the trailer , are those wires running to your truck ? Do u have a a plug at your bumper and then it runs all the way to your battery under the hood?

I prob could have. But this setup has been working perfect for about a year now. Not a single issue. Have prob used it about 30 times

@@AndyHilins it may work but it isn't done correctly. The tie downs are bolted through steel for a reason. Good luck
