As someone with about 12 hours of blender experience, most of this still looks like magic. 👍 can't wait to come back to this later!
are you still learning blender?
@@noeleez yh i made a new account to post my work but im almost done with my first project
How are you doing with blender?
For those who will eventually complain, 10 minutes is the length of the video, not the time required to do all of this.
That was the most informative 12 minutes of my life , Love your Work hope you make more tuts for this community
hahah thanks so much Muhammad! absolutely more tutorials coming so stay on the lookout :)
Well, i wont say it was for me…. But can’t say it wasnt 🗿
I saw this comment before start watching and thought "yoo as if!" .... 12 minutes later i can say you're absolutely right haha

@@3_g_r_a_b 😂😂 Man you made me burst laughing
I watched this video with not a single moment of boring . This is not a Regular tutorial ,its piece of Art.
Ah thanks so much John
Waow! 2 months of hard work turned into a 12 minutes video that make it sounds everybody can do that. Bravo!
This guys is an expert at everything. This is unbelievable! I'm just blown away.
Wow, what a fantastic video. I wish all blender tutorials were like this.
I love your work, glad to see you are doing some tuts!
That's so kind, I super appreciate :) Glad you enjoyed
Your texturing is amazing. A detailed in depth tutorial for it please ❤️
Thank you so much! More is coming soon
WHat a gem this Channel is. This almost makes me put all my HSM projects on hold to start something like this
This is what we called "Photorealism." Every single detail is perfect! You nailed it ♥
This is a great format for getting a holistic view of the process of making this. As a beginner, one of the hardest parts is knowing what you don't know. Videos like this give you enough detail about each step that you can then stop at any stage and go do some research on the information given. And, if it's something you already know, you can just breeze on by. Thank you for this, great content!
Can't tell you how happy that makes me, super glad you are getting something out of it!
I am just starting to learn Blender. I greatly appreciate that you go through the whole process from conceptualization to rendering + the final touches in Da Vinci. I look forward to create scenes like this, hopefully in the near future.
this is sick! seems easy to do but demands a lot of time to adjust the details, thanks a lot
Thanks Cairo! Glad you enjoyed
Dude this is so sick!! So stoked for you man, keep it up!
thanks so much man!
This is the best Ad I've ever watched. I don't even need the full course now. Thanks.
Incredible work. I am a beginner Blender user and am blown away by what it can do when used by the right talent. Excellent.
Very nice work! Very enjoyable and impressive.
Thank you!
This is such a great tutorial I had to buy the course. Let me tell you, the course breaks everything down and isnt just a "set value to 3.788 because i like it", he explains what the value does and why he sets it to that amount. So worth the $25. Keep putting out tutorials Covingsworth!
Ah thanks so much man, really glad you're enjoying the course!!
this is the most unreal thing ive watched. im a videographer that cant have access to alot of the shots i want. this is honestly a game changer. i can make some unrealistic visions come to life as if it was real
This is awesome! Love breakdown videos like these, super digestible and informative.
Great work as well, you nailed it!
Ah thanks!!! Really appreciate it, and more to come
Love it Cov! Incredible work and great explanation of the process.
Ah thanks so much Ronald!!!
Great work! Putting all the information in just 11 minutes is amazing as well 👏
This was the best Blender tutorial I have ever seen, and I have watched a lot lol. Great job & thanks!
bro your picture is ugly , just kidding that is such a nice comment , so go an search for my animation called tasteful
No one does what you do as well as you do it, Covingsworth. So neatly put together in the clearest way possible. I'm so impressed and inspired by your videos. My PC can't even handle a single sphere in Blender, but I still watch your videos for how meticulously you present everything. And if all that wasn't enough-you have a voice so soothing, I wish you could read me stories to bed.
I have an audio book out on bed time stories! Link to it is in the description. jk but thank you hahah
@@Covingsworth Read the first part in my notifications and was like “OF COURSE HE DOES” 😂
Insane talent, looks real!
Dammit!!! This is the most creative way to sell a course! Now I have to get that course!
If I can get this much info from a 10mins Timelapse imagine what I’d learn in the full course!
Thanks!! Keep doing great work!
with content like that, this is hugely underrated channel
Thank you so much :))
Awesome work man! So much story telling just from the way things are placed and textured. Great job!
I’ve purchased your course and you should have seriously charged so much more for it. Very thorough, excellent for beginners but it’ll improve a Blender user way past being intermediate once these lessons are absorbed. Brilliant work and thank you ❤
That's amazing I'm so glad you are enjoying it!
Please think about the average person
everyday in my life i saw blender tutorial..its the most importance than ever
This is gold. I rarely comment on these kinds of videos but I need to let you know that this was one level above the others in terms of tutorial composition. Short but still informative enough. Well done!
Ah thanks so much Kakanhell
That one part on grass scattering and wind animation seems really useful, we'd enjoy it a lot if you made a tutorial on it.
Thanks and there definitely will be!
Incredible work dude!
Thanks Max, super appreciate it
This was great thank you. I'm in school and making a short for my portfolio and just couldn't tell where to start with my scene so I have been bouncing around like crazy. For people who have a general understanding this is just fantastic order of operations.
Ah I'm so glad its helpful for you! And big big good luck on the short!!
This might just be the coolest 3D breakdown I’ve seen, I need more!
Glad you thought so Brock :) More on the way!
Talented. So talented. Amazing work cov!
thank you much bre!
I loved this tutorial, amazing work. I think you are a good UA-cam content creator, I appreciate this
Thanks alvaro!! Glad you enjoyed
It's.... Not so much a tutorial though is it... It's an outline of a very deep and timely process on 500x speed. :-D
@@SkillipEvolver yes i know tyyy
I can't get over how good the grass looks...
Hey Cov, your work is amazing. It’s wonderful to see how far you have come.
Hey Liam!! Thanks so much man, means a lot. Hope you're well!
one of the greatest videos that i saw in my life when it comes to learning things
Okay this channel is going to be so much fun. Thanks buddy for bringing such a awesome video.
Ah I appreciate that so much!
lots of hard work was put in this project .. Marvelous .
i usually just end the video and move on with my day but this one deserved a Sub and a comment. Nice video thank you
Thank you so much!! That's super nice
@@Covingsworth Oh I also liked it too btw 😂 hope you have more content on the way !
its crazy how your process is so different from blender guru's method of making a old dusty house is. Anyway its always good to see different perspectives!
High quality work and great price on the tutorial. I'll be picking up soon.
Daaaaaamn that looks stunning you deserve more attention on here dude!
Thank you!!
This is really good for your first video! Well done, can't wait for more
It may be the best tutorial of 3d modelling on UA-cam
Hi, I'm a beginner 3d modeler from Kazakhstan. I want to say a big thank you for the work done in the video. You allowed me to learn a lot thanks to this video and give me the idea of the project I started working on. Thanks again, I'm glad that there are such professionals in their field on UA-cam! (p.s. I write through a translator, because I'm not very good with English, I hope you will understand me :D )
That's amazing! Hello from the US :) Glad you enjoyed
perfectly summarized video of a time lapse !! 🔥🔥
learnt a lot of new things today 🙌
Thanks Kay :)
Excellent price for this course, it's worth much more, but you've made it accessible to soo many more people by doing this. Just purchased it and can't wait to start! Complete noob btw
Ah thanks so much Manga!! That was definitely the idea behind the low price point.
@@Covingsworth Just started and I'm loving it soo far. I always thought about creating stuff, but I've never valued the importance of using references, this has changed my entire perspective and approach to digital art. Thanks!
brooo, this just blew my fucin MIND
It is just insane how good this is!
Absolutely unreal video!
Many thanks! 👍🔥
Duuuuude! This is awesome. Looks straight out of tlou games, but better somehow. Fantastic work man.

This guy is no joke. What an amazing workflow. Amazing Explanation. You just motivated me more.

That means a lot! More to come very soon
Looks good. Nice workflow.

Dude you are so underrated!
Amazing video man I learned a lot not gonna lie. You earned a new sub!
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed!
You just did Gods work. Thank you for this fantastic tutorial.
hahah thanks!!!
Fantastic, precise, engaging short vid intro to the mind of someone who is clearly intimate with his artistic field. Loved following you on your journey from concept to realisation and the thought process that brought you from A to B. I have no designs on becoming a 3D artist but I continue to be inspired by you and your peers. Bravo! And, of course, thank you!
That's really kind! Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it
you just steal my heart with your art.. really really awesomee
hahah thanks :)
@@Covingsworth bro need more tutorials🥺🥺
I never knew about the hardening the normals! It is so helpful. Thank you 🙏
I usually watch blender videos just to laugh. This one was a pleasant surprise. Good job.
Bro even Greatness can't have the good words to appreciate your work enough it's basically NOICE 👌👌👌
I hope to be this good in the future! I love it! Keep it like that man
Awesome work man! The little detail of adding the escape rope made from blankets/clothes and staining that window adds so much more to the horror feel of it. Like someone barely made it out of there, or did they? (Dun dun dun)
Thanks so much!! and damn I think you are on to something :O
This was friggin insane! Just insane! WOW!
Please a full tutorial on the grass process. Your process sounds and looks intresting.
Love you work
Amazing video, and simply beautiful work. I just recently started my journey unto 3D, and this is honestly inspiring!
Ah thank you so much Dongus! Super good luck in 3D, you got this
@@Covingsworth Thank you, have a lovely day!
every second of the video was worth it to watch :)
i always miss out on the block out and immediately start on detail’s because i have no patience but this showed me every step matters thank you
I did the same for a long time!
No idea why this was recommended to me, but I loved your video, and now I’m subbed. I’m excited!!
Ah thanks Bubba!! Means a lot :))

I love it !amazing 12 minutes tutorial !
reminds me of the intro to far cry 5 really impressive , really organized workflow
Totally looks and feels like some place that I've seen before in Oregon.
Totally! I explored around Oregon on google earth a bunch too for inspiration
BEAUTIFUL😍❤ It looks very difficult, realistic realism
Great great great, and..... great.
Things like that makes me excited to make 3d scene.
thanks for that.
Ah really appreciate that Carlos!
Super tutorial, I would have bought your course if not for Substance painter. As a student in architecture, your tutorial gave me a few ideas on how to improve my renders.
But the big stop for me is to pay about 50€/month for the adobe software, is too expensive for someone like me who's just wanting to learn it and maybe use it for my school projects. I'll keep your video on the side in a private playlist, for when someday I am working and need your tutorial.
Keep up the good work, your renders looks gorgeous
Substance painter is now free for educational purposes. Check if you're eligible!
@@sirdiff1 really, if that's the case it would be awesome since it's not part of the creative cloud. I'll check tomorrow then, thanks for the info
Thanks Antonio! Like others said you can actually get Substance for free as a student :) I'll also be releasing more videos going into Blender's texturing pipeline
ur channel is gonna blowwwwww, this is amazing
hahhah hey I hope so! Thanks :)
When I UV meshes that will have visible wood grain, I orient the uvs to run longways horizontally, so when I feed a wood texture in my texturing program, I don't need to individually select and rotate wood uvs to match the grain direction. Plus, you can then change out the wood material for anything.
Just bought the course, thank you for sharing your wisdom!!!
Ah hope you enjoy Kieron!!
the escape rope out of the top floor window nailed the suspense
Ah thanks Chris!
Wow, and i can't believe this is your first video (I'm assuming as there is only one video in your channel), great modelling/texturing and explanation skills!
Thanks Butter!
this man is a awalking industry ❤❤❤I had to subscribe for more
Ah thanks Paul!
I love it!
Wow that’s pretty incredible
I don’t know much about this stuff, but it looks amazing and was so fun to watch! I’m looking forward to more videos!
Thanks Hattie!!
This was great! Keep 'em coming!
Great inside look to the process. Very informative
Ah thanks Josh!
Subscribed!! I like the way you explain and express everything in the video!! I'll admit, this is certainly not a beginner friendly tutorial. Mostly aimed at someone who's a bit on an intermediate level. Thoroughly enjoyed!! ✴️✨🌟💪
Immediately subscribed. Incredible video my fiend.
the way sims has prepared me so well for this career
This is one of the few actually photorealistic landscape scenes I see coming out of Blender. Well done!
