The Ohio State Highway Patrol is reminding drivers to stay alert and avoid distractions after a trooper was nearly struck on Monday.
The OSHP says a motorist dropping a cell phone and reaching for it almost caused an Lima Post trooper to be struck head-on as he drove on SR 115 in Putnam County.
