Thanks for the tutorial. Beginner friendly ❤️
HI, this is so beautiful, you are really easy to understand! thanks! chears!
Nice video! But could you show more slow detail at the start of row 3, where one has to do a sc into front strand then back strand of 2nd chain from hook to get nice clean edge.
This is a wonderful, easy to follow, and clear tutorial. Thank you!
Thank you very much! Great video!
Thank you for a wonderful tutorial
Thank you... This is really helpful
Your demonstration is perfect for beginners. Every detail one needs to know is there. I really really want to do this in the round. For a clutch bag. I did it but I don’t like the way I connected the rows. Can you explain how to end one line and going to the next so it doesn’t show? How many multiples I should have 3 or 2?
Very clear instruction. Thank you
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. It is so easy to follow 💗💗
Great tut ! slow enough for me to understand 🥰🥰🥰

Your tutorial is easy to follow, thank you! Btw may i know how to crochet border around star stitches?
Beautiful
Que lindo parabéns
Thank you very much, your explanation is very clear and the result is nice
What size hook do you use to crochet the ‘Star Stitch?’ Also, what yarn do you think is best for this pattern? I Love your calming voice. Thank you.
I have a book that says make 3 loops not two to make star stitch....so you don't have to make two. Though it doesn't say to hdc in last chain. So that was good to know.
It is wonderfull.. greeting knit 🤗
Thank ´u so much. You explain so well.
Hello, is it the bumpy loop behind the V that you're picking up? Such a pretty effect this stitch gives.
I liked it.
Fabulous
very easy to follow, thank you
Thank you 💜
Please teach how to increase and decrease as well for star stitch. It would be required for some projects like a sweater.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Love! Thank you 😊
Im doing it now
Thank you 😊
Hello is that a good pattern to ear warmer?
I would like to make coasters in the star stitch, Do you have a tutorial for this. Thank you in advance
Hi! I’m wondering how to “increase” and “decrease” when using star stitch? Thank you!
Hi, would this stitch work with bulky yarn (guage 6)?
Thanks you idea 💡🥰🥰🥰
I have worked this 4 times and I always end up with one stitch left over on the end.. is this because I don’t use the back loop on my foundation chain? And just HDC on that last one? .. 😐.. I tried to do in the back ‘bump’ and still ended up with one left over at the end.. gonna just make it even and not add one ☝️ 💖🌈🐻
That happened to me as well. Did it end up working for you?
Paige Spicer yes.. I changed it around to make it work right,, and solve the going out of line on the edges
Crochet tip:- You can undo your very 1.st. starting loop-(knot) & "lose" the extra unwanted one.
did you go above the recommended hook size for this stitch?
When you pick up loops in the next two chains (loops 5 & 6), are you going into the "back bump" of the foundation chain, or picking up both strands of the chain?
I've seen it done both ways in different tutorials. When I'm doing Row 1, I just do one strand from the foundation chain. When I'm on further rows in the middle of the work, I do both strands.
Thanks
Very nice
Nice
This is hard to understand but after numerous tries I got it.
Ya good it’s bit diffI cult but very beautiful. Thanks for making video
i must have messed up coutning, i chained in 2's then plus 1 and i ended up with an extra 1 at the end of my row :(
I had to look up what that meant. The "chain in multiples of two plus one" part means you chain in multiples of 2, obviously, and add the plus one at the end. The plus one acts as the turning chain.
You CAN UNDO your SPARE 1st chain.! & LOSE it. ✔
How many mm is that crochet hook please?
How to get the book the way to make crochet
Can you please tell me the type of yarn you use
0:30 row 1
3:32 row 2
4:53 row 3
No matter what I do I have a stitch left over. What am I doing wrong? Please help😢
Are you chaining an even number of chains and then adding one more chain?
Don't add one ... just any even number and it will work with you 😉
How to make the stars a little large than this size?
I want to make a scarf How many chain should I start?
Phatcharee Hanssens ~ EVEN number + 1 MORE.
Deberías darlos en español hermoso tutorial
Time stamps
Row 1 start: 0:10
Row 1 end: 2:58
Row 2 start: 3:19
Row 2 end: 4:34
Row 3 start: 4:51
Row 8 end: 7:08
Thank you for sharing. I love to crochet and this tutorial will definitely help me. I have my channel also. Love to hear from you
Why am I ending up with a hole at the end of the row?
I found starting and ending the rows hard to do.
👍🏽
Where would you use this stitch? For a blanket? a doll dress etc? Thank you
Hailey BStinson
You can make blankets, hats, ponchos, potholders, baskets....anything you want too really.
I've been trying to crochet a baby blanket with this stitch, but it seems like my ends keep getting wider as I go... I've had to restart a couple times now because I was getting extra stitches. Any idea how that was happening?
I myself am having problems with drifting at the edges and cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. Did you ever find out?
Me too.! ✔ Try STITCH~MARKERS.
@@jessicanewland9357 I don't remember how I figured that out, sorry! :/
My edges keep drifting... Not sure what I'm doing wrong? Advice anyone?
Jessica Newland ✔ me too.! So ~ USE STITCH'MARKERS.!!✔
Jessica Newland ~ look below.! MANY are having SAME Problem.!
How many chains did you chain up?
Bren M Even + 1 ✔

I didn't even get what they were even saying in the book so I had to watch a video....making 63 square afghan. All different stitches.
I noticed your videos are very short. However, I was hoping you would help beginners like me. Can you do a S-L-O-W- Granny Square tutorial from beginning to end (30 minutes)? I've tried to follow vids making the GS with clusters (treble crochet) but I get lost be'cz the vids have TMI. Sometimes they speed up their vids (not fair- THEY get bored, and I get confused) and I get lost! If someone would just DO the steps (stating the stitch only) the vid would be EASY. Thanks.
Pinky Green
I know it’s been a year but for those that aren’t aware, you can slow the speed down by clicking on the three dots at the top right corner of the video. I’d suggest watching the video first then watching again at a slower speed and pausing it to caught up if you need to.
I keep ending up with one remaining stitch at the end... Am I the only one?
Can't hear from the music😖
You give very good clear instructions but afraid I can't tolerate thd tinkling music
It is a great tutorial. Mute the music if it bothers you. This is very well explained. I wouldn’t lose the tutorial just be/c the music is tinkling. Nothing is perfect, madam. ❤
@ventumloquitur8250 you can't mute the music, and keep her voice. They are the same audio, if you mute it, THE INSTRUCTIONS THEMSELVES and the voice, are muted.
