Good stuff Joe!
good stuff Joe.
Most screws I come across are stripped out or just generally bitched up. Your right, you should have a decent set of screwdrivers in your kit.
A Archer toy from Small Soldiers, nice
I live in Canada and we use mainly Philips and Robertson (square head).
+Average Joes Joinery for sure for sure. Maybe square head works better in the harsh cold weather of Canada haha
Certainly works better then Philips does, much less slippage. Poor rest of the world.
great to see a Brit representing :)
It really is surprising how many people don't have a decent screwdriver in their home.
And if you anticipate using it a lot then a cheap powered screwdriver would be nice to have. Saves you from wrist pain too.
I don't think a powered screwdriver is that good. I'd much rather have a drill, because it can drill (obviously), but also is more steady and has more power.
I definitely agree. I think every home should have a jigsaw, a drill, a few common screwdrivers, some pliers, a crowbar, a level, some drill bits, and a glue gun. These are the basics for home improvement, and to fix stuff.
Garden?
Joe, thank you for some basic common sense.
Just dont use the bits from those cheap sets in a drill or impact driver, they really cant take it.
