    An interesting fact about where i live (Romania, middle-eastern Europe). The claw hammers was virtually unknown among normal people (maybe some carpenters had them), and most people had a crosspeen hammer (sort of flat on one end, and like a wedge perpendicular to the handle on the other end)

    when i worked as a finish carpenter everyone used flat claw hammers and made fun of me for using a curved one.
