Foreigner is a great British-American rock band who started in 1976. They had a lot of great hits such as "Feels Like The First Time", "Cold As Ice", “Hot Blooded”, "Juke Box Hero", "Waiting For A Girl Like You", "Double Vision", "Blue Morning, Blue Day", "Dirty White Boy", "Head Games", "Break It Up", "That Was Yesterday", "Say You Will", "I Don't Want To Live Without You" etc.

Every time I hear it I'm reminded of a sweet young redhead named Satin Spice that took me to her apartment and introduced me to her two cats and Pomeranian named Butch. I discovered the music of the 80s, or at least I was aware of its power, in the summer of 1991.
I remember that in the 1993-94 academic year I was not going through one of the best moments of my life, I was 16 years old and there was a radio station that broadcast music from the 80s 24 hours a day; in class i would wear my walkman with headphones that i hid inside my sweater, and i would listen to songs like this. I repeated that course but music, thank God, saved me internally.

This is one of those songs I don't think anyone can go through their lives without hearing. It has been in so many movies, tv shows, adverts and all points in between. At one point, whenever record labels released "best rock albums" type compilations, you could pretty much guarantee this being on most of them.
One thing I would suggest is you watch the movie Rock of ages. It is a musical based on the theatrical performance that has had residencies in various theatres around the world and has had numerous tours too. The film is basically an ode to the 80s and features songs like this and from bands like Guns N Roses and Def Leppard etc. One of the main stars is Tom Cruise in a role you would not expect from him.
