wow!!!! that's great, good choice for the reaction. Miss Biscute. Foreigner is an excellent musical band with iconic themes such as: Urgent, Cold as ice, Hot Blooded, Juke Box Hero, Feels like the first time. I hope you can consider them for future reactions💓💓
❤This was our wedding song back in 1986. Sadly my husband passed away in 2019. I miss him dearly but I’m so grateful for the 33 years we had together. ❤
This is the biggest #2 song of all time. It was #2 for 10 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, but couldn't quite make it to #1. I bought this album the day it was released back in 1981 and it never left my turntable for weeks. This group, this album, and this song mean so much to me. Lou Gramm was at the top of his game and in my opinion the best rock vocalist of all time.
Yeah, and the song that kept it from being #1, was Olivia Newton John's -Physical. Ridiculous if you ask me. Then, in the tenth week, Physical fell from #1, but Hall &Oates- I Can't Go For That, leapfrogged Foreigner for #1, Foreigner stayed at #2.
Can't go wrong with Foreigner. They have so many amazing songs and this is right up there at the top. I also recommend Say You Will, I'll Fight for You, and Cold as Ice. Awesome reaction Biss ❤️😍
Beautiful song, the synthesizer makes this song perfect to listen to on a peaceful summer night. The lead singer is from my area and we get to see him once in awhile at a local store, restaurant or hangout. A really down to earth guy, and great with his fans.
This song is a billion times better than "I Want To Know What Love Is", which was just Foreigner replicating a formula that they had found effective without putting much effort. "Waiting For a Girl Like You" on the other hand was their first power ballad and it felt genuine.
Got to see this band live with my family, and my Mom was in tears and hugging my Dad as they sang this song. Foreigner is a fantastic band, with a massive catalogue of mega hits. Want a break up song? Try "That Was Yesterday" or "Cold As Ice". Want a simple rocker tune? "Jukebox Hero" is your jam! They have something for everyone
'Juke Box Hero'. If you don't listen to another song by Foreigner after this one, you'll still have a totally deeper understanding of this band's awesomeness.
Great Band...Other hits: "Cold as Ice", "Hot Blooded", "I Want to Know what Love is", "Double Vision", "Long, Long Way from Home", "Blue Morning, Blue Day" and so many more...
Just attended the Loverboy/Foreigner concert last night....WOW! The energy from both bands was off the charts! One of the best concerts I've ever been to.
I love this song... and you are 100% right. This is an awesome couple's song. I think when he wrote it he was taking it from a point of view that the couple hasn't met yet, but are knowing what it should be like when they are together.
Hello biss. Thank u for doing this song as it foreigner was one of my favorite groups growing up in the 80s. U do so much for ur fans with the music and movies. I wish u nothing but the best. ❤❤❤
Completely different but also same decade "Marillion - Lavender Blue" or "Level 42 - Lesson's in Love" , both 80's bands have not been on Biss's radar yet.
I enjoy the way you dance to this song and the feeling it brings to you. That smile of you is a killer, so sweet and innocent. Whoever you choose to be in your life that person needs to love you the way you deserve. Take care beautiful.
Foreigner really stands out due to their timeless mid-tempo, easy-to-listen rock songs that have the best of the 80s in them that lived on in pop and rock songs until today. Songs like Urgent, Cold as Ice, Juke Box Hero ...and the one you just heard all were big hits that survived the test of decades. For sure they are worth listening today still, especially if you never heard them before. True evergreens.

Hi Bisscute, I enjoyed your interpretation, there is someone I feel close to. This song says it all for me, I’ve been waiting a long time for. Well I hope you have a wonderful Christmas 🤶 and a happy new year 🥳.
Cool. This was the standard radio fare back in the day. Loved Foreigner 4. Still do. Thanks, Madalina, for the reminiscence of one of my yesterdays. Still watching and loving it. Take it easy. Big shoutout from your old, longhaired, Southern Rocker Dude in East Tennessee, here, in the States. Love your sexy super bad self. Ah...that sexy accent and phrasing with the English. Aw..still tools me every single time I listen to your voice. Can listen to you speaking all day long. K. Later, doll. Peace.
To this day, of all the music out there (especially coming from a drummer), this is still my favorite song of all time. From the perfect, yet simple drum riff that stays on time like a metronome to Lou Gramm's perfect vocals, the bass guitar. Mick Jones' keyboards, background vocals to the introduction of Mr. Thomas Dolby who was new to the music scene, yet worked up that perfect spacy synthesizer intro. They had reduced in size from 6 to 4 members when "4" was released, it was their 4th album and also produced the hits "Urgent" & "Jukebox Hero". In fact, every track on the album is great - it was one of those albums you had to have if you appreciated music in the early 80s.
That was fun listening to it with you. Those are really good romantic lyrics. Mick Jones is a super talented songwriter, guitarist, and producer, and Lou Gramm had one of the best rock voices.
