  • Having tried those pressure pot style sandblasters years ago unsuccessfully, I decided to purchase a media blasting attachment for my pressure washer instead. Actually, I bought a pressure washer MAINLY for the sandblaster attachment. This video, I check it out, and fire it up and see how it performs! I was quite impressed!

      Good stuff! I don’t care what anyone says, better than a pressure pot sandblaster in so many ways, provided the pressure washer is decent. I done a whole engine bay if you haven’t already seen. Works great! Thanks for watching!

    Really great results! This is the best I have seen. I noticed that these particular blasters need 4gpm to work. I was all excited until I found out my pressure washer only does 2.5gpm. So, a high volume pressure washer is a must. The extra water flow you added from your source made all the difference because your pressure washer can handle the volume needed. Great video!

    Great video which I watched after total frustration with my $50 amazon purchase.of a water blaster attachment - it seems my professional Karcher 5/12C. You definitely made the right decision investing in professional grade equipment to avoid pitfalls.
    Looks like you need to spend a grand to achieve top grade professional results. (as usual).
    My Karcher apparently hasn't got the guts to create enough suction to transport the media. from the bag (80 Grit Garnet purchased from H&F) to combine with the jet stream.......
    Based on your set up the karcher flow rate is probably too low at about 10l/min and 2200psi.
    Your thoughts?

    • @PangazShed
      @PangazShed  2 місяці тому

      That’s a beefy Karcher, however you’re right, definitely the more flow the better. I think you usually need to look for around the 13L mark and over 3000psi. I wouldn’t call my particular Pressure Unit professional, it’s a knock off Honda unit that’s imported by a local machinery joint in my state. The attachment itself is great due to its quality cast and long lasting carbide tipped nozzle. The golden Amazon cheapies are a glorified suction feed squirty bottle.

    • @PangazShed
      @PangazShed  4 місяці тому

      They both have their pros and cons. This setup is also messy, loud and the flash rust is a problem. Wet sand lodged in crevices can be problematic also.

    • @PangazShed
      @PangazShed  2 роки тому

      I think you will find the nozzle is rated to a maximum of 5000 psi. My pressure washer is 3000psi or so. But it’s the gallon/ liters per minute flow which is most important to make the nozzle work best
