I know a creepy psychopath in a position of power: Rachel Porter from Redwood Falls, MN, but now working , if you can call it that, in Northfield, as an administrator of an assisted living. She is a bad actor and a criminal who has not YET been convicted in a court of law, at least not for her con job and abuses at Valley View. She intentionally traumatizes people there for the sadistic thrill she gets by invalidating people. Sometimes a psychopath goes undetected in society, as do their crimes and abuses. Even psychiatrists are sometimes conned by their truly psychopathic patients. It can require a fairly long and close association to see them for what they actually are, sometimes. Evil intent, hypocrisy, selfishness, arrogance. . .malignancy power games. Puppeteering others. Misleading others and taking secret pleasure in doing so. You should cover the new killer cop case in Sydney where he murdered a man he was obsessed with and stalked and the man's boyfriend. What's especially horrible is how the police system failed in every way to prevent this from happening (hiring him because of nepotism, keeping him on the force after he used excessive force in an incident because of nepotism, letting officers sign out their guns in inappropriate times etc), and how they painted the victim as an ex to make what he did seem like "a crime of passion" instead of a crazy stalker's premeditated murder. The police commissioner also quoted Taylor Swift when faced with criticism.
Where I live, it is so expensive and difficult to hire and train a new cop that most agencies will happily settle for a crappy one who has already been through the academy.
How are there no mandates for leos to receive regular psych evaluations?? I dare someone to make the shameful lack of that basic preventative measure make sense. Or why there are no measures which would require regular drug/alcohol testing for all leos (including for steroids) for that matter. It's just downright disgraceful who we allow to become police officers.
Police Unions make sure no drug testing is done unless there is an incident. Bet they fight hard against it even there. Boys in blue close ranks even for the ones they know are the worst. Girls too.
“Alcohol testing”? Seems excessive. How exactly do you do that anyway? Monthly blood tests won’t even tell you if someone has had alcohol. Do we need to outlaw alcohol so that cops can’t drink too? Put ALL cops through “regular” psych evaluations? He was a beat cop. People already don’t want to work in law enforcement, let’s make sure nobody will apply. I get your concern but your jump to severe authoritarianism for a job, confuses me.
@@selecttravelvacations7472 What do you mean how?? A breathlyzer and or blood test for alcohol. They could even install it into the ignition system of our patrol vehicles when/if necessary. And any combination of blood, urine and hair follicle testing would be adequate for screening for the rest. In other words, the same way that they do it other civilians. And the beat cops are the ones who need to be psych tested most of all. And we want for the dirty cops to quit. Better ones who are not drinking and driving (both on and off duty) and doing drugs would replace them. Because it is exactly those kinds of crooks who make the good cops leave to begin with. Scary that creepy psychos get a position of power and trust..it seems to happen alot..terrifying
How the hell does a person even apply to a police academy without a thorough background check. Unbelievable.
We have that in office right now, it's called Joe Bide, the Squad, Fetterman, Adams, Braggs, Johnson, Newsome.
I know a creepy psychopath in a position of power: Rachel Porter from Redwood Falls, MN, but now working ,
if you can call it that, in Northfield, as an administrator of an assisted living.
If a psychopath is clever enough, they can make positive and misleading impressions on people. The aforementioned Rachel Porter is simply a con woman, a sadistic betrayer of trusts, a pathological liar, a DARVO deploying perpetrator of abuse.
She is a bad actor and a criminal who has not YET been convicted in a court of law, at least not for her con job and abuses at Valley View.
It is like she exists for the sake of the cons she perpetrates, since I have seen her grin with glee, sadistic glee, a few times when she is abusing her power.
Her intentions are evil, she is two-faced and hypocritical, cons the owner, cons some--at least--of the newer employees.
She is very pathological, as well as pathogenic.
Rachel Porter is a real nutball--a toxic, noxious nutball.
Imo, the book should have been thrown at her long ago, for the sake of
society and people's human and legal rights.
Imo, justice would be served when she ends up in a long term secured residence for many years--such is the egregiousness of her predations. . .
She runs a SCAM on everyone, through her pathological lying modus operandi and dom. tw-t personality.
She is just a FRAUD without a conscience. . . self-serving AF.
That's where our political class comes from.

As a police officer, many places are trying to fill holes in their staff. That doesn’t excuse the fact that he was sent to an academy and given a firearm. What a shame.
I hear you.
We recently had a similar story where a (unsuitable) young celebrity chasing gay cop murdered two people with his police issued Glock.
Orlando.gov has seen a few bad cops, cases that were crazy. 1 SWAT qualified patrol officer ran after 2 female shop lifters shooting at them. 1 cop, Travis Lamont beat up a 83 yr old WW2 veteran over a tow truck incident. 1 6'08" OPD officer repeatedly beat & kicked a unarmed suspect, damaged his spleen. Suspect won a city lawsuit 📂 but a crooked FL judge set aside the verdict.
I believe "de-fund" the police movement and the level of disrespect for LE has added to this problem since 2020.

Great work as usual :)
This notion that certain people are good at “detecting a lair” turns out to be wrong. Most people’s ability to “detect a lie” is no better than flipping a coin. The “experts” ability is only slightly better than a coin flip.
Even as surprising as it is that not only one, but TWO, police department or agencies didn't do a background check on this loser, it's amazing to me that this putz actually graduated from a police academy. Incredible.
There are Putzes, as you put it, PROUD Putzes, with PhD's--narcissism and psychopathy are not contained in or barred from any educational (formal)
level or lack .
I'm in LE and I will say background portion of the hiring process isn't always fool proof for some agencies. Sometimes the lack of training to properly do a background investigation especially for smaller agencies or not knowing how to use resources at hand to delve into applicants background at their disposal led to this. Although I would imagine an agency like the VA state police would have the resources and proper bi training to have vetted this guy properly.
How does one join the police force without proper background check.??? Scary.!!

Yes, I find your analysis of this topic to be very informative. You are a spot on with the behaviors of a sociopath.
What a shocker, police departments having to settle for low hanging fruit as of 2020....
Sadly they always have I have police in my family they talk about it all the time. Even back in the 90s.
Where I live, it is so expensive and difficult to hire and train a new cop that most agencies will happily settle for a crappy one who has already been through the academy.

That part ! That’s what I’m sayin he doesn’t look 18 !

Girls too.
Maybe the Lion King forbids it.
Give me a break. That you would actually condone and allow for them to shamelessly continue on with their double standards is what confuses me.
@@selecttravelvacations7472You say that people already do not want to work in law enforcement. Well, that's true. But has it really never occurred to you that all of the unstable cops (like this) being allowed onto the force are a big part of the reason why they are so understaffed?

Since the 2020 riots and "the de-fund the police" movement police departments across the country have had trouble finding new candidates and lost seasoned officers who chose to retire early.
