The usual dialogue you get from her is "why massacre the tieflings" then your usual response is "to get your trust blah blah" Edit: You’ll also get this dialogue if you’ve managed to leave the tieflings and goblin situation unresolved.

I wouldn't say she's 100% evil, she's clearly disturbed by the idea of killing for no reason like a one-dimensional villain. I'd say she's more like 85% pure evil.
She's definitely more self-serving than not, but it's the weirdly grounded and honorable sort of self-serving. She's less about the whole principle of being good or evil just for the sake of it, and more about the personal details and purpose. Even if you pick the evil murderhobo options, they tend to result in her disapproval more times than not unless they pose some benefit to you and the party or serve a part in a bigger purpose. She doesn't cater to doing any particular thing "just 'cuz". There's definitely an evil leaning there, but it's a very purposed and contained evil. As in, "Stay away, and we're good. Fuck with me, what's mine or what I'm about, and I'll make your life as miserable as I possibly can, kick you to the curb, and laugh while I do it."

F man this vid randomly appearing in my feed in late January is the only reason I finally learned they patched Minthara to be alive after knockout back in November. I haven't known that this whole time and thought you still have to refrain from helping tieflings to get her.
sadly i didnt save minthara first go through did it in the wrong order and killed the hob first darnit so she was full hostile kod her but she didnt make it to moonrise ah well on the replay then
You also have to refrain from long resting after she has been knocked out. Until you have finished the quest that has you kill the goblin leaders. I usually go Minthara first, Gut Second, Razgolin last. Also do not let any of the goblins with Minthara hit the drum, the one she is talking to often will make a v-line straight for that drum. It causes a conflict with the journal if you do that. To get her to go temp hostile I usually start by attacking the floating eye.
The only thing you miss is the post Goblin Party scene; regardless of what you do in Act I, her approval starts at zero when you rescue her from Moonrise.
@@charlesboots6508 Yeah is kind of weird that you don't get no approval boost from freeing her from prison. Shadowheart thanks you twice if you freed her from the pod in the prologue.
@@tomasmartinmdq Her romance mainly starts in act 3. But if you save her early in act 2, pretty much make a vline for Moonrise Towers once you get to the shadowlands there are allot of things you can do to gather approval with her. Can you knock her out during the final battle between goblins and tieflings, or does it have to be while in the goblin camp to prevent that fight from happening?
@@abcdefghij337 No she goes full hostile if you side with Zevlor at the grove. She has to be temprary hostile, done by stealing, assaulting or vandalizing something and being caught by her. You also have to deal with her as the first goblin leader as the safest option. You can get her after Gut, but I wouldn't recommend that unless you can manage to kill her before she calls for help. Or she drugs you and locks you up, which doesn't work I believe if you're an elf, or is it just if you're a Drow. Can't remember which? But Razgolin the hobgoblin has to be last as his death agros all characters inside and on the outside of the goblin camp. Which also means Minthara if she is still conscious. Also, once she is knocked out you cannot long rest until you have killed the other 2 leaders and resolved the quest involving killing them. She will wake up if you long rest before resolving the quest. Best place to do the long rest is at the Tiefling party. A way you can check if the trick worked is, go back after to the goblin camp, which is easier if you have killed them all. From a distance peer into the room where she is found and if she is standing there then the trick has worked. Just do everything you can and then go to Act 2. She will be at the trial in the same scene as if you sided with her. If you loot her, she will not have any gear later. Appear butt naked. Doesn't help her any, Kethoric doesn't fall for the booby trap. But if you want to be selective the only thing, she will not have later is her weapons.

It happens too if you just ignored the raid and walk into act 2. Kinda neutral path. And tieflings died by not your hand.
