I think they’d be disappointed to know it’s 33 years later, the tide isn’t turning, and not much has changed at all.
I think that the tide turned into a tsunami and the things are even worse.
Palestine has shown the truth and truly changed the tide. But yes, 34 years after this historic performance. But better late than never…
hot take: it was a good idea to end the concert with this song rather than outside the wall, it just makes more sense from a celebratory point of view and OTW would be too much of an anticlimax

Msn I still remember seeing this on my satellite dish way back when, I was so hopeful about the future. And what to do we see? This same statement is now controversial, iron curtains being erected again in some way (15 minute prisons), and authoritarians using any and all pretenses from climate alarmism, digital currencies, medical shams, racial division, etc to take us further and further from a hopeful and fulfilling future.
We can't let ourselves slide this way, not for us, but for those that come after which we have to do what we can to make it possible for us to have future generations.

Not just Garth and Van but Cindy Bryan Adams Thomas Dolby the cast he put together to do this live show was phenomenal
