How do you get the paint to cure? I use acrylic paint & it stays tacky no matter if I leave it out to dry for a week or more. I appreciate your advice.
I haven’t had tacky acrylic paint but sometimes my paint pens are. Some scents react different than others and if you live in a humid place that could cause it to be tackier. Maybe setting it out in the sun or putting a gentle fan on it could help.
Wow probably the simplest way I’ve seen this done! How long do you recommend waiting for paint to dry? Is it bad to leave freshie left out for a long period of time? Will it effect the scent?
Acrylic paint won’t be able to make the glitter stick. You could definitely use it to paint the lines. I personally don’t like using acrylic paint but I know many freshie makers who do. I had issues with it flaking off of the freshie.
I always let them dry overnight before brushing off the extra. For this video I waited about 5 hours and it was still a little sticky, but dry enough that I could brush off the glitter. Then I let it sit overnight before bagging it to make sure it was dry!
I’ve only had issues with puffy paint once and it was when it didn’t have glitter on it. It fell off in the summer. I’ve always had good luck with it when it’s glittered, but I know it can get sticky if you only use puffy paint.

A few days is fine because your house isn’t crazy hot allowing the scent to evaporate. I try to get them bagged within a day or so.
This is great information. What would be the difference you’d say in using this over acrylic paint?
Acrylic paint won’t be able to make the glitter stick.
You could definitely use it to paint the lines. I personally don’t like using acrylic paint but I know many freshie makers who do. I had issues with it flaking off of the freshie.
It probably needs to be oil based to adhere to the oiled beads.
Do you have to wait for the black to dry before doing the puffy paint?
It’s paint pen which dries really quickly so no, but if you’re doing black acrylic paint then I would wait.
Where do you purchase the needle tips for the paint?
These are puffy paint bottles so I didn’t need to buy additional tips- they already come with a fine tip on them.
Hi! You use two colors (beads) one for hair and one for the face?
Yes I do! I use a piece of cardstock paper to help me separate the beads.
@@retailbyhales375 got it! Thanks❤️
What vendor do you use for your glitter?
I use quite a few different sellers. I’ve bought glitter from My Glitter Dealer, Glitter Chimp, and from AliExpress

Can you please tell me what color you used for the skin? I’m having a hard time finding skin tones

Does the puffy paint hold up well when it’s placed in a bag

Do you put mud podge on top of the glitter?
I don’t 😄
