I just ordered all the things so I’m watching videos before I start. Thanks for the tip
Thank you for posting this! I’ve been making freshies for a few years and just recently had the idea to put the puffy paint in the mold instead of on the freshie but didn’t know how to do it. If I should let it dry all the way etc. I tried asking someone who’s done it and she leaves me on read soooo. Thank you for not gate keeping lol
Idk if this would be appropriate to ask but I’ve been struggling to find a recipe of measurement for my freshies, do you have any ideas since you’ve been doing it for a few years now?
Thank You for sharing. I love learning new ways to make my freshies unique.
Love how the paint turned out! Two things that surprised me were how you baked the paint onto the freshies, and how you were able to leave the roofing nails inside the silicone molds. I have been scared to leave the nails inside during the baking process because for whatever reason I was thinking they'd melt right through. Glad to see they didn't! Definitely want to try those two methods now. I have been wanting to switch from cookie cutters to silicone
This is awesome because I have been having issues with painting mine I’m going to try this thanks 🙏 so much
I do this with MIca. I also make soap and decorate the mold in advance all the time. Thanks for sharing a neat technique
I’m just getting started and your videos have been super helpful! I will definitely have to try this technique 😊
Thanks so much for this great information.
I recently subscribed to your channel and I can't wait until my freshie starter kit arrive 😍
I enjoy your tutorials
Thanks so much! 🥰
Just curious... Do you always make your freshness so thick?
Thank you for this tip! I was wondering how they got painted so perfect.
I’m not sure how I missed this lol I’m definitely going to try this! ❤
Where do you get your supplies for the mold? Who is the best one to order the beads from?
Thanks for this tutorial, I will definitely try this method since I'm not good when it comes to painting. 😅😊
Thanks so much for watching! I definitely don't consider myself good at painting either lol! Let me know how it goes!
Thank you for this. I was racking my brain trying to figure out how people did this lol
How did you store them, if you stored them? And did the paint last? I’m curious because I’ve seen where paint starts to peel and/or stick to the bag people store them in.
Love your videos. Question for you. After you make the freshie and want to store it until they sell. What is the shelf life. Thanks
Love what you do and always admire entrepeneurs. Question thou, what are your thoughts on Environmentally Friendly products??? Reason I ask is while looking into my own business model, have been hit with this question alot.
I goofed and I add red my beads with wet puff paint. Will it turn out?
They turned out so cute! Love those colors!💜
I have a question. When curing your beads,do you reuse your jars with the same scents? Or can you wash them, and put different scents in them?
Thank you! I reuse a lot of my jars for the same scents but when I need to switch out I just wash really well with hot water and Dawn dish soap.
@@CreativelyErica Thank you soo much for replying!💗
How long did you let them dry for?
When they’re done and don’t stick to your finger does it feel tacky? How did the soap and water take out the residue of paint in the mold?
Question is ok to use to puffy paint? I thought only matte paint could be use? Because I bought some of the Ulip Slick paint but I haven't used it because I didn't think I could.
Did you get the blue paint out of your mold? They look beautiful as usual❤
Yep, with some hot soapy water! Thanks so much!
Hi Erica!
Does it matter what fabric paint you use? I have the puff paint and slick paint both tulip brand.
Hey!! Nope, they both worked for me just fine as long as you let them dry completely before pouring in beads to bake.
What happens when you don't use matte ? Does it not work
Hi I just started using puffy paint on my freshies but no matter how long they dry, they stick to the plastic bags I use to put them in. Would acrylic paint do this as well or is there something I can do to combat this? 😢
Can you use a micro wave or toaster oven to melt them?
Do not recommend microwave
why matte paint vs satin and i do crafts but most of my paints are FolkArt. Have you used FolkArt before?
Can you bake different scents at once?
Usually most people don't. I wouldn't recommend it
When I put puffy paint on after the freshie has cooled, it peels off. Does the paint peel off when it's baked like this?
Hasn't for me so far
How on earth do you get the paint into pinpoint bottles? I have wasted so much paint
You flip your paint bottle upside down straight into your pinpoint bottle you are going to squeeze and hold your pinpoint bottle just a little and when you squeeze your paint you release your pinpoint bottle so it creates a little suction and helps fill the bottle, search in tiktok and a couple videos will demonstrate
I'm new. Why do some people decorate the smooth side and some decorate the other side? Does it matter?
Glad you did this but I was already doing this
Welppp wish I knew about it sooner, no one told me 🥲
