They look amazing!! I love making aroma bead ornaments, key chains, car/room fragrances...make such nice gifts....so glad I came across your site....thanks for the great tips!...Never too old to learn new techniques! Will be back again!!
Glad I came across your videos! I’ve always bought freshies from the boutiques in my town, but I’ve been wanting to start making my own and soon possibly make it a side gig while I’m in my radiography tech program. Could you please make a video about how to make the card stock? Thank you! ☺️ your videos have been so informative!
Thank you for your videos! They are super helpful for someone wanting to start making freshies. I love the silicone molds! I think they both turned out amazing!
TURTLE YES came out amazing. Sandal was a fantastic save. Nice to know you can apply another layer even another color of puff paint over another and more glitter to save or change the look. Great share. The sandal looks great and I bet someone will love it. But oh yeah the turtle rocks it. Thanks for this share too. You do make this look so easy. I've got vision issues where my eyes to do not work well together so painting and doing work like with the turtle paint would be difficult. One eye sees twice as big an object as the other eye. I'm on hold waiting till I decide to cry uncle for eye surgery. My surgeon however agrees with me that I can wait a while as after a year of free falling downhill it seems to have stabilized a bit. Surgery will not correct this problem but it can prevent things getting worse that my condition can lead to if unchecked. So as much as I love this video I'm leaning towards not out lining fine details on these molded freshies or maybe avoiding too detailed and fine detailed molds for now. I do have a sun flower that has a wonderful bumpy center for the look of 3D seeded center which wouldn't need to be painted and you could use some colored variations. I bought it to make a Ukraine luv freshie. But it's really big and now I'm looking for a smaller version. I'll check out some of your links for the mini molds and also there are some great soap and candy silicone molds too. Experimentation is in my future for sure.
Silicone molds are super nice. But like you said time consuming. Maybe oil paint pens like on the turtle might be easier. I think they both came out really pretty. Good job 👍🏽
Yes, that is so true. I need to try the oil paint pens. I saw somewhere that they bleed in the heat/sun but I will have to try them myself. Thank you SO MUCH :)
Would you mind making a video on pricing? And if you ship any of your freshies, packaging and shipping prices as well would be super helpful! Love your videos thanks for doing them!
Thank you for all of the content I just received my beads and scents today and I’m excited to get started!! What size molds and cookie cutters do you use?
you are so welcome. thank you for watching and commenting :) For cookie cutters I use anywhere from 4-5 inches and molds I use anywhere from 3-5 inches. In my opinion, it is harder to sell the super small car freshies. You will love making freshies.
Love how they both turned out! Can you make a video of how you wash your molds to remove glitter? I have such a hard time removing glitter from my silicone molds.
Hi, I’m trying to learn how to make these. I am using the 8:2 ratio. So my beads have been in the scent now since January 6th and still aren’t dried. Did I do something wrong?
Do you have a video tour of how you store all of your supplies? I am wanting to do this but not wanting to figure out how to organize all the freshie items. LOL
Looking for help. Who has the best and strongest leather you all have come across in fragrance oil? I make them for my husbands truck but the ones I’ve used don’t last long and are light on smell?
Can I ask you how you get yours not to stick to the inside of your bags? With the paint on them? I’m having issues with mine sticking to the inside of the bags? 😩
I am new to trying to make car freshies! I tried to make a couple yesterday and they would bake in the top and bottom but not in the middle. Do you have any idea why that is? Thank you!
Ok so I am new to this. I had my oven on 350 and did 10 min. It completely melted. I tried 5 min and the middle wasn’t done. Top and bottom were. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks Tina! 😀
Where do you buy your beads before you color them? And do you scent them or do they come scented?
I love both the sandal and the turtle. But I think the turtle is my favorite. I want to try to start making freshies.
Thank you so much. I love the turtle as well! You should start, its super fun! time consuming, but fun :)

Thanks so much. Yes of course I will 🙌🏻 I know the feeling. It’s a struggle sometimes.
Love the turtle
Can fabric paint work in a pinch? Yours looks great
Yes I think so!!! Thank you
Do your freshies stick to the packaging because of the paint?
How long does the scent stay on the freshies?
Curious on how you smooth the back edges?
These are so cool.. does it keep the scent after baking or do you spray them?
Can you reapply scents when the scent fades
Thank you!!! Yea, it keeps the scent and you cannot reapply scent
@@EvasCarFreshies1 how long does the scent last? Thank You so much
@@takinadocher7199 2-4 weeks if made properly ❤️
Hi, I’m trying to learn how to make these. I am using the 8:2 ratio. So my beads have been in the scent now since January 6th and still aren’t dried. Did I do something wrong?
Where do you order your silicone molds from?
Etsy
Do you scent the beads first and then color them?
I understand you need to put the freshies in the oven for a few minutes to melt the beads, but I'm wondering if that makes the oven smell or anything?
Mine does not :)
Been making freshies in my oves for over a decade and never ever is there an after smell when done!
@@nancythomas5730 yes same 😀
Can you use food coloring for coloring?
Btw the turtle is my absolute FAV ❤😍
awe thank you so much. No, you cannot use food coloring. Candle dye will work
How do you scent the beads and when do you scent them?
Hi, I have another video on how to make car freshies. I explain it all there :) Check it out!! :)
Does the glitter flake off ?? Like when it is hung in the car will the glitter eventually scatter around ?
Honestly, no. Flakes here and there but def doesnt come off a lot
Do you have a video tour of how you store all of your supplies? I am wanting to do this but not wanting to figure out how to organize all the freshie items. LOL
I do not. I can make a video soon lol. Everything does add up quicky
Looking for help. Who has the best and strongest leather you all have come across in fragrance oil? I make them for my husbands truck but the ones I’ve used don’t last long and are light on smell?
Hello i just want to ask how do you pack them? do you put them in a special plastic bag when you sell them?
Yes. I store them in Polypropylene bags so they don't lose their scent 😀
Can I ask you how you get yours not to stick to the inside of your bags? With the paint on them? I’m having issues with mine sticking to the inside of the bags? 😩
I didn't see you add the scent. When do you do it and how much?
The beads are already scented.
Use a stamp method when doing solid colors for a full design like the black on the turtle
Thanks
Hi. I have a question. Does the paint come off the freshies?
Any suggestions on how to clean and get the scent out of the molds?
I use soap and water. The smell stays but it won’t affect the next freshie
How long does the smell last on them I think they cool
Thank you! If made properly 3-6 weeks
I’ve got a question.. I just got the sugar skull from SFWP and I’m sure how to decorate the details🥴 can you help??
Where do I buy the beads scent and paints from
paints you can get from amazon or any craft store. beads I get from lonestar candle supply but they are not scented. I scent all of my beads myself.
Where do yall get the molds at?
They're everywhere now. Etsy. Amazon. Just google freshie molds
How can I get my details like urs mine didn’t come out with the details do I cook it longer?
yes, try cooking it a little longer, it has to be very melted for the details to come out :)
I am new to trying to make car freshies! I tried to make a couple yesterday and they would bake in the top and bottom but not in the middle. Do you have any idea why that is?
Thank you!
maybe too much mica powder or not enough bake time
Ok so I am new to this. I had my oven on 350 and did 10 min. It completely melted. I tried 5 min and the middle wasn’t done. Top and bottom were. What am I doing wrong?
Every oven is different so I would watch it for the first few times. Try 7 minutes
Can you use any deep fryer oven
any oven or conventional oven.
@@EvasCarFreshies1 thank you is it toxic to put in the oven that you put food in
@@Pjbowhunter10 no but if you don’t feel safe you can use a conventional oven
@@EvasCarFreshies1 ok thank you
How long does it take for the paint to dry?
I would say 30mins to an hour
Where do you find your scents?
hi! I get all my supplies from stay fresh with peanut. you can use code EVA10 for a small discount
Where do you buy your molds from?
Check the description. They’re from SFWP 😀
Where is the turtle freshie mold from?
I cannot remember but Etsy has the same ones :)
What's the ratio when you use the big of Mason jar on the beads and oils?
It’s alway 4oz of beads to 1oz of fragrance oil ratio. So 8-2 or 12-3 depending on how big your jar is. Use that and you will be fine.
@@greenvalleysix4569 thank you
@@ivetten8502 No Problem
Like those
Thank you :)
Do how much would a freshie like the turtle go for?
I sell that one for $12 but you can choose your prices.
How much do you charge?
Prices vary depending on the design and size but I start at $10 for all freshies
Mine never has all the detail. I’ve even tried doing the double bake method 😭
Try adding less mica powder
Fun but tedious
Yesss sooooo tedious
Ohhhhh def using too much powder that’s why they’re not working
yes, that will make it fall apart unfortunately.
This is very helpful as I am starting to make these to sale 😊🤍 Thank you
So exciting. You’re so welcome
Can you use food coloring to dye the beads?
Love the turtle
Thank u!
