- The Pinhoti Trail is one of those “hidden gems” yet to be discovered. Those who have hiked the trail will attest to its splendor. This is a 15 minute video of my complete Pinhoti Trail Thruhike. I hope you enjoy this compilation video and I am glad you were able to come along with me.

Congratulations on completion of the trail. After watching this whole series, it inspires me to attempt this trail as well in the future. My wife and I have one a bit closer to home (KY) called the Sheltowee Trace Trail that we will probably try to do first. It is just hard to get time away from work to do some of these trails without just being a day hiker / weekend warrior. As you stated though from the movie 'gotta get busy living!' Thanks Rev, look forward to your next adventure!

Really enjoyed your video and the through hike video series. The Pinhoti is 1.5 hours away. My wife and I have hiked sec.1-9. She sustained a back injury, and we haven't been able to complete the trail. How many days were you on trail?
28 days. I took more Zeros than I should have. 😳

I’ve been watching your videos on hiking the PCT.
I have a question if you will.
I have severe sleep apnea and need to sleep with a CPAP machine.
I have a battery that last two nights.
Do you think that I could hike the PCT and be able to be at electricity every third night in order to either use electricity for my CPAP machine or to recharge my battery?

Hey Evan. There are some trail towns that are five days apart. I’m not sure how much electricity your CPAP machine takes. I’m guessing that it’s going to be difficult to keep your machine charged but check it out at home. 😁
