- My wife and I celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary on March 16, 2024. Our children, David, Daniel and Karen gave us a trip to Maui, Hawaii in order to celebrate this momentous occasion.This video chronicles our 10 day adventure to the beautiful, tropical island of Maui. My wife and I have been to Maui a few times. Personally, it’s my favorite island. We’re a little behind you…..46 and counting! Before I retired, I went to Hawaii around least once a year on business, sometimes twice a year. I never stayed there long enough to get tired of it. Glad you had a nice trip and congratulations on your 50th with your bide. 🎉

Loved watching your Maui adventure! My husband and I have a timeshare there and we go about twice a year. I love it so much!!!
You visited several of our favorite places too -- Hookipa Beach, Humuhumu restaurant, the Kula Lodge (the Jacaranda trees there smell like heaven). Iao Valley, the restaurants, the beaches, the Grand Wailea, oh so much to enjoy!
I almost cried when you loaded your suitcases into the trunk of the car to leave the island. So many times I've cried when it was time to leave Maui.

First, congrats on the amazing accomplishment and privilege of 50 years of marriage. Your video of Maui brought back so many happy memories for me. I was married in Maui (Maui'ed) and have been lucky enough to return to the island many times. We even stayed at the Maui Vista. You showed me some old favorites and some new sites as well. I thought I could never return after what happened in Lahaina but your video showed that the island is thriving. One of my favorite things you showed were the local kids having fun at the Iao Needle. And it seems the Kauai chickens have made their way to Maui.
My son lives in Yuba City, CA and the same chickens are EVERYWHERE! They’re taking over the world! 😂
