Saw Mr. Carvey in the early 90’s in Phoenix. Funny as hell. After the show we were finishing our drinks and he came out and talked with us for 10 minutes or so. Just a normal, nice guy. Celebs like that are the best.
Only Dana Carvey could transform a heckler's interruption into a comedy bit without going hostile as so many comics often do. On the hostile side of responding to hecklers, Sam Kinison was perhaps the funniest. But Dana's response here was a welcome and surprising change of pace.
I caught a set of his two nights ago in San Diego. His sons opened for him . Yeah, pure genius. Theoretical impersonations of Obama speaking w/ Kim Yong-Un about Nukes . Had me crying. glad it was dark in that comedy club!

Talking shit to everyone all night and he got nasty. They had to throw him out at one point. Whoever it is, gender isn't the issue. It's when liquid courage is flowing just a little too freely and becomes liquid arrogance lol.

Carvey always has a great energy, he never comes across as being mean-spirited even when he's making fun of someone.
He did an amazing job of managing the hecklers and kept his cool. Awesome and professional.
