Reporting Scammers to POLICE at India's Scam Fort

- Опубліковано 24 лис 2024
- Amber Fort in Jaipur is the most beautiful fort in India, but it's infested with scammers. I take you through the fort and report the scams to the Police! But what will the Police do when I complain? We'll find out.
The best part? I ran into two American tourists who watched my videos and thanked me for teaching them the 3 most important words as a foreigner in India "Nahi Chahiye Ji" (I don't want it).
Filmed before Lockdown.

Being an Indian, when he said that "Nothing ever changes here".
I felt that.
It is, however disappointingly, very sour truth. 1 out of every 3 police man in India is actually truthful and not sold. They get their money from scammers, the police will pretend to take action but never will as they have got their pockets full because of these people. Very rarely, actual actions sare taken here. They earn 50% of the profit earned by the scammers themselves and if the scammers are not ready to share their profits, they are expelled out of the fort. Thus the scammers remain poor and keep their motives clear to once own a luxurious house where they can earn some real money.
@@faizaannasir2298 are you saying... scammers are good?
@Akio Chu nope, what I wanted the readers to focus at was the fact that it is a vicious cycle, and nothing can really change in India until policemen are no more corrupt
@@faizaannasir2298 Or until youth organize, educate, and plan to make change. Sitting around being absolutely certain that other people know that nothing can be done to fix an issue seems pretty immature and lazy. It's your homeland, do something... or is it your plan like so many millions of others to come to MY homeland (USA), which you care NOTHING about?
@@user-c4b9b What your saying is quite contradictory, now here's the deal: until you turn 18, you are economically said to be a liability on the country. It's the government's job to help educate you. Have a look for yourselves, are your grandparents or your grandparents' parents more educated than your parents? Most likely not, why? because the government of USA has improved their standards of education and that's the reason why you are educated, both mentally and socially. Unless the government does not work on education right now, you can't expect a youth with all this knowledge. And to overcome this issue Indians live abroad, like in the USA from where they get educated, and this group of educated individuals can be very helpful in the future of both countries: India and USA
People come from India to these foreign lands because they find good job opportunities. They generate income for these foreign lands. They are the workforce of this foreign land. They dont come as a pollutant. They are needed too. They play equal roles as you do in your country for the betterment of ur country and theirs. So you cannot blame these Indians to have been polluting your country or being dependent on your country.

tbh, that's why India is not at the top of my travel list right now. Wanted to go and one of the things that put me off is the constant scam and harassment warnings from others that went.
As an American I can tell you that 90% of the scam telephone calls that we get are from Indians! 🤬
They will do it as long as it works. Why should it be otherwise
Yup, when I answer the phone, the moment I hear an Indian accent, I hang up, because I've had so many Indians randomly calling me, trying to scam me. I get at least 3 Indians in my voice mail weekly telling me my Netflix or Disney+ account has been suspended. I don't even have a Netflix or Disney+ account.
Once I had to call my phone company because of issues, and the person had an Indian accent, and I had a hard time trusting the person, lol.

They are dressed in the traditional saree and tourists think they are dressed perfectly to suit the theme and are at the fort ready to take pics with foreigners. They really should be wearing uniforms with the contractor’s logo (the cleaning business name on it) and with a badge with their names if they’re working as cleaners. This way tourists would not think they roaming around the fort looking for tourists to take pictures with which is what many travellers would think.

This should this be brought to the tourism minister’s attention? not just the police they really need to crack down on their cleaners work uniform. Traditional clothes sarees confuse tourists and think they work there to take pictures with tourists and I can tell you tourists think that they work for the tourism board at the fort. Hope things will change in future.
But felt bad after seeing this video.
@@doitnow2178 why would you care about foreigner when the European governament doesnt want to reparations for what they have done ??? when you owe somebody then you pay back.... clearly europe has not done that... so why would indians care about others??? untill india comes to a level where it has very little poverty then we can care.. till then hell naah
hit this video more than millions so that the government gives a damn about this you are doing an amazing job Karl.
Did you know that you can buy _reviews_ and _likes_ for cheap, from India (and other countries)?
Stop asking for a hand-out. Pay the price; it's a business afterall.
I am an Indian.but never offended from your videos..you are doing a great job.the foreigners that visit India dont know what is happening and get scammed a lot..thanks for letting them know about all these scams!
why would you be offended this is the truth same shit happens in pakistan but not as worse (from experience)

Being an Indian we used to give tips on almost every service we used in the USA. And that is sometimes more than 3000 INR.
If we don't then they may insult us.
If you are taking help from someone during your stay in India, then you can give a tip to them..
It's good to see your videos. Some people in India are really doing these scams. It's better to stay safe.
I found yr channel because I've got so many scammer calls during the pandemic. I was wondering if anyone does anything about it and I found you. And now I enjoy all your videos. Thanks bro

It's fascinating to me, as a New Yorker, to see the same things you always see in Times Square happen all over the world. Leeches can survive in so many locations, it seems.
It's interesting that in Times Square they're just trying to make a living but for these people we call them scammers
i saw a 50 ish man selling a bit of wire with a long bit of coloured furry cloth at a holiday resort , had no idea what it was meant to b but he looked rough for wear and trying to sell these things for £1 , he also looked a bit sheepish trying to sell the items (like he would never sell one) among others selling items for kids but he was trying so i sent my kid over withthe money and the guy looked for me and gave me a smile and a thumbs up , i have no probs giving a quid to someone who is trying if they have nothing else they can do ,
@@jakejancook yes every country i think has them at big tourist locations , france had small replicas of eiffel tower being sold by im igrnts that were made in chna and shipped there very quickly , i think it was the only way they could make some money but it was stopped i think because it affected local shops trade

I am from India and I thank you for your effort because it is helping many innocent foreigners being scammed by them. I also am worried that India's prestige is being jeopardize by them just for few bucks. It hurts me.
« just for a few bucks » but unfortunately behind each of those hundreds beggars/scammers that only demand few bucks is a big underground criminal organization.
@@tenor-haute-contre just for a few bucks because for me any amount of money is less important than the national prestige of India in the world.

0:02 ....Karl Bro" Firangi "is a slang used for outsiders(who does not belong to india .
It was majorly used in revolt of 1857 for the Britishers prevalent till indian independence ...! So better tell yourself Videshi ...and not firangi !!
Yeahh... Even Hindi speaking people don't use that word anymore
@Wuzuki Tan Wow! HISTORY teacher...Great Job
Firangi actually means white people
Not everyday we can see karl being racist
It was specifically used for British people so I'd say it's probably racist at this point and should be avoided.
Old Hag: “I’m a model, take my picture and give me money.”
Tourist: “Aren’t you supposed to be cleaning the fort?”
Old Hag: “That’s just a side gig.”

Exposing these scammers is a great help to the country. It is been happening for so long and now things are destined to change.

Most of the time i say "nahi chaye" and walk ahead and ignore them. Being British people think i don't know about their scams so i just ignore them. But at least i have an Indian mom who is an expert bargainer
but ye hain na jo sab...piche pad jaayenge firangi dekhkar. Hmm Indians ko nhi chorte toh ye firangi kya bachenge. It's just we guys know how to get away with these people since we know our people and culture . But it's difficult for the foreigners to escape. Local men and women harass them a lot
