When I visited India I mostly visited rural places, it was quite peaceful. As far as I know not all places in India are like this I think it’s just the big cities
When I was in India, 2 days were enough for me to change all the plans to visit any touristic places, and I just went to Goa and spent several weeks there instead of travelling across the country. Only when I met foreign tourists, my trip became fun. So I only hanged out with tourists and only completely isolated any communication with locals. To this day, even after 10 years, I have a very bad reaction to India. Its kind of sad because before my visit I was curious about them, but now I have allergy to this culture, except for sitar.

Thank you for your empathy, at the end you said '"Imagine you're a girl and that guy is following you'". Because I naively solo travelled to India and the harassment was indeed super scary. It feels so good when men play in the same team and empathize with women ❤
When girls in the U.S. call you a friend, you’re in the friendzone.
When guys in India call you a friend, they’re trying to scam you.

THE TRICK TO AVOID THESE PEOPLE :
1. YOU MUST NOT INTERACT WITH THEM.
2. DONT MAKE EYE CONTACT.
3. LOOK AWAY.
4. DONT SHAKE THEIR HAND.
5. WALK AWAY WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING.
6. DONT LOOK BACK
AND YOU’VE SUCCESSFULLY AVOIDED THESE ANNOYING PEOPLE :D

whenever you see these kind of people in india , just ignore , dont even see them , even if they are constantly telling you something ignore them and keep walking dont even say no
I would advise you to visit Pakistan cuz its more safe just an advice tho 💕
Being an Indian i would advise the same, just straight away ignore people who approach you in any of the manners that have been shown in the video. Travelling in India can be hard for foreigners. I apologise for that.
No brother ...Just tell police India police is very supportive to foreigners they really will help you

@@account2374 I'd visit only to try and sell the tout my used phones.
When I visited India I mostly visited rural places, it was quite peaceful. As far as I know not all places in India are like this I think it’s just the big cities
Please don’t go to india with a preconceived opinion on the country based on a few videos.
Visiting India for a month, I couldn't relate to my friends back home how unbelievably exhausting it was in India *constantly* fending off people who consider you as a walking ATM.
