The virtual stockroom exists for like a minute. The weapon room in Tremors lasts an entire scene and is easily the most memorable and classic not to mention hilarious example of all. Come on Watchmojo
+The King of the Penguins I totally thought it would have been up at the top or at least in the honorable mentions. The virtual stockroom was nothing in comparison to Burt Gummer's basement.
The Kingsman, secret gun room that uses a pull down coat hook as a hidden door opener...luckily no one will accidentally hang a coat on it and discover the secret room?
I always believed the Kingsman who acted as the Tailor... or whatever, the guy at the desk, had to "Unlock" the secret room, the coat hook was just the door handle.
One of my favorite scenes from any movie was in Willow when Val Kilmer finds the armory in the castle with all the swords and crossbows and armor. As a medieval nerd, me and Madmartigan both got pretty damn excited.

@@anitabonghit7606 well there is far cry from someone else weapons and using your own and I mean that you built it or purchased it all on your own that is exceptional.
WatchMojo got a thumbs-down from me for leaving out one of the BEST from the list (not even an Honorable Mention): Burt and Heather Gummer's Rec Room in *TREMORS*.
+EcchiSpud I was typing the same comment as you basically when I decided to scroll down first. I actually didn't expect it to be on the list considering it's WatchMojo, but did think it would be mentioned at least.
Basement rec room in Tremors. Not the biggest by far, but the reveal is perfect. Great in the context of the story. Really surprised that it didn't even get an honorable mention.
Honorable mentions: 1. Burt Gummer's rec room from Tremors. 2. Aaron's gun room from Money Talks. 3. Franklin's gun storage from The Watch. 4. The Alcatraz armory from Half Past Dead. 5. The Scorpions' armory from Predator 2. 6. The cheese truck full of guns from XXX: State of the Union.
Weasel: "I thought it was chocolate yogurt for so long-" Deadpool: "I need guns." Weasel: "Okay, which ones?" Deadpool: *"I NEED ALL THE GUNS!!!"* When you guys do an update to this list, you gotta add Deadpool's Stash.
Can someone stop bitching about this for 5 seconds. I keep on seeing a comment about this. They use the weapons IN the weapon room. I don’t think that counts. The one from G. I. Joe Retaliation, that one is badass. Hell, he’s got a TANK in his garage!
I would like to add one more honorable mention...the storage unit in the movie Red. Bruce willis has that stacked top to bottom with weapons and explosives.
Lars Van Maris That all depends on the person. A guy I know has over 30 firearms. All stored securely. Has never had an accident and is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet.
The Kingman cache is by far the coolest , just because it took so much thought and creativity to give it the ultra classy look it had. It is # 1 in my book. .... I should mention though...the prop dept. blew it on one small detail..the hook on the left should have been pushed UP , not down, as the simple act of hanging a coat on that hook would open the door to the secret room, but no one would think to try pushing it up.
The awesome part about the gun room in Commando, you can actually own almost everything in there, with the proper paperwork. The claymore mines and the actual rockets for the rocket launcher would be difficult, I think. “The Big Hit” and “Double Team” with Jean Claude And Dennis Rodman. John Wick is now in the top 3 list worthy.
Oddly enough, Willow had one of the coolest weapon rooms I've ever seen in a movie. Young me was so god damned excited when Madmartigan opened that door.
You guys totally missed Earl's basement in Tremors where he gets out his elephant gun. I thought that would have been 2-3. I figured Matrix would be number 1.
Can the virtual room in The Matrix be actually called a room? There are no walls, door or ceilings. That "room" is actually a dimension between the matrix and the real world.
How about the Soviet stockpile armory bunker from Lord of War? And Burt's basement in Tremors deserves to be an honorable mention at least. Maybe make another list?
I like the scene in the movie "Uncommon Valor" where the group of Vets trying to rescue POW's in Vietnam has all their weapons confiscated by the CIA. SO..they go to a "Black Market" dealer (Naturally a Frenchman). All the selections are too "Rich for their blood" so the dealer takes them to the "Bargain Basement" ...a Room out of a WW2 Collectors Dreams! All dusty and in need of cleaning, but still deadly in the hands of a skilled Veteran! :)
These list seem to be getting more random. How about top ten scenes where a character walks into a dark room turns the light on and finds somebody waiting for them or top ten movie lakes and what about or top ten accidental window break scenes
I'm glad your number one was what it was; but your honorable mentions missed Burt Gummer's basement in Tremors, and Nicholas "Oz" Oseransky "security room" from The Whole Ten Yards.
Watchmojo getting another top 10 list wrong, big surprise. The 'rec room' from Tremors should not only be on the list, it should place very high, top 3, maybe number 1 for many people's lists. That was such a great scene.
“You broke into the wrong God damn rec room didn’t you.” Tremors. Burt Gummer. WatchMojo fail.
I think it got disqualified because they actually USE the weapons...
hell yes Burt's basement in Tremors was the best weapon room in movie history
Burt Gummer’s Rec Room is the best!

That was the best secene in the movie
Eventually we need to make another version of this to include Winston's room in John Wick 3...
Jonh: Armor improvement
Waiter: .12 Gaurse. Slug. Armor piecer
Bunker Armory from Terminator Genesis, Gun Wall from Tremors, maybe a couple more
The Wine Tasting in John Wick 2!
Why? To show four shotguns, three ar-15s, six glocks, two revolvers, and slugs that DON'T exist and are in theory (and practicality) impossible?
And the storage crate in Red

This needs to be updated with John Wick 2 gun shopping
Same bruh
Not even a mention of Tremors?! Bert .. “the gun guy” ?!!!
No way... Tremors had the #1 rec room! That weapons assortment was realistic and epic!
I saw it. Not really impressed.
The tremors scene is so great at there is the fantastic reveal when the camera pulls back, really funny.
Really? You didn't have the weapon room from Tremors!
+TheProfessor936 That's a great movie.

+ TheProfessor936 Yes I was hoping someone would mention Burt's weapon room.
+TheProfessor936 oh burt, he's awesome
and it has the only action scene in a basement full of guns and they didn't even made the HM
The Kingsman, secret gun room that uses a pull down coat hook as a hidden door opener...luckily no one will accidentally hang a coat on it and discover the secret room?
zbudda Maybe it requires more pressure on it than your average outfit's weight would apply?
The film was good though
I always believed the Kingsman who acted as the Tailor... or whatever, the guy at the desk, had to "Unlock" the secret room, the coat hook was just the door handle.
archer found and raided it.
Well i think that room is exclusive only to kingsman agents
I thought I was alone in thinking about that Room in Tremors while watching the video. I was surprised to see so many mentions in the comments.
Well I think they're talking about weapons rooms that outnumber that room in weapons 1000 to one.

Burt's room was realistic. MoJo was interested in GunPorn.

The John Wick 2 gun shopping scene, Winston's room from John Wick 3, and Bert Gummer's rec room in Tremors are three major fails.
Bit late, but check the date of this top 10 (2016), how would it be possible to put scenes from 2017 and 2019 in it? >_< Yes oversight on Tremors ofc
