The Man with the Golden Gun is among my favorite Bond movies, and has my favorite villain, but the titular Golden Gun isn't really all that powerful. It uses 4.2mm rounds, which really isn't all that much. It's legendary deadliness is down to its owner, Francisco Scaramanga, and his incredible accuracy.
For me, it’s the M134 minigun from the Terminator series because of packing the most firepower of any regular machine gun, and it can tear off the roof of a car as seen in Terminator 2 when the T800 engages the police but no casualties.
This is true, and in the animated series, it kept giving J a lot of grief dealing with that kickback.. until K gave him a "neuron de-scrambler".. a sort of silencer type device that prevented both the huge kickback and focused a great deal of that spent energy from going out and away when the shot was fired, to making it go along the same path of the shot itself... this improved the destructive power of the weapon and (most importantly) helped to tone down it's kick so it could be more easily handled and utilized by J .
Awesome choices all around. ->Lawgiver and ZF-1 are my favourites for Versatility ->Auto 9 and Railgun for stopping power ->and the BFG for energy weapons. Only things I might've made an arguement for was the T-800's lever action shotgun or Grenade Launcher from T2 -Rambo's Belt-fed machine gun from First Blood part 2. -Old Painless from Predator -Omaya Kaboom... Hale Ceaser/Terry Crews auto shotgun with explosive rounds in Expendables. -and POSSIBLY either Cable's gun from Deadpool 2 or The modular and upgradeable energy pistol from that Lost in Space movie with William Hurt and Gary Oldman (that one always stuck wth me).
The BFG Gun is Actually called The BFG 9000, It is a massively powerful plasma energy weapon which utilizes ionized Argent Energy, Powerful Enough to Leave a Crater on The Surface of Mars
I was hoping to see the Godkiller from Drive Angry. It's a wicked firearm with the ability to kill anything, mortal or divine, and completely nullify their afterlife.
Missed an epic one. Burt Gummer's anti-tank gun with custom-cast solid bronze .50 cal BMG rounds, from Tremors 2. Also, the Cobra rifles also from Robocop, which is what the star wars scene "i like it" is parodying.
All of the most powerful guns in movie history are my favorite powerful guns in movie history! Boy I wish I can wield all of those powerful guns from my favorite movies, and boy it would be fun to just never miss my mark and by that I mean never miss my target even if it means taking down enemies with a single shot.
The Auto-9 can be bought in either airsoft style or actual firing gun. Xenomorphs do have a conscious, as was proven in the film franchise, the comics, and the books. The DL-44 is one of the weakest weapons in the Star Wars Universe comoared to Boba's disintegration rifle. "..and no disintegration!" - Vader.
I agree with your #1 but you're missing a couple of my favorites, "Big Baby" from Hellboy 2:The Golden Army, and the Sharps Rifle from Quigly Down Under. Loved this video. When I was a kid i made a lawgiver out of wood. lol
What happened to the weapon used by SImon Phoenix in Demolition Man * The Magnetic Accelerator Gun* < "Ak-Mag" for short > is a magnetic fusion gun that displaces the flow of neutrons along a linear path that, when fully charged, possesses 100 shots per full charge, and has a horrific range of 800 METERS per SHOT! (( or 2624 foot distance)) This, in my opinion, means it's a VERY man portable cannon that can put a hole in a tank at over two thousand feet away, and do considerably more damage to a group of enemy soldiers.
Some good guns on here (love the #1,) but one omission: the homing shot pistol that Charles Luther (Gene Simmons, yes, THAT Gene Simmons) uses in the 80's sci-fi film "Runaway."
This should’ve been a top 20 bc there’s way more, Phil Coulson’s Destroyer rifle, Red Skulls tesseract pistol, Chewbaccas crossbow, the umbrella and briefcase from Kingsman, Proton pack, etc.
The M134 minigun from Terminator 2 as well as the 1887 lever action shotgun from T2, and while these next few aren't big guns, the Colt Peacemaker from the Man with No Name Trilogy, and even the classic Bretta M9 are some of my favorite movie guns. Not to mention, John Woo used the Bretta in a good amount of his movies.
What, no love for Ol' Painless? The man-portable Minigun made its debut in the Schwarzenegger vehicle Predator and immediately became the gold standard for ridiculously over-the-top Hollywood badassery. Plus, I wish the Noisy Cricket had made the main list. (On the other hand, it's hard to justify a weapon that obliterates anything it's aimed at but also kicks you fifteen feet the other way.)
Don't forget about: Proton Blaster in Ghostbusters series, Castor Troy Golden Gun in Face Off, Beretta in John Woo movies (A Better Tomorrow series, The Killer, Hard Boiled), Django Unchained
Fun fact: They cobbled together the Auto 9 for RoboCop because the gun they chose turned out to look too small in Robo's mighty fist. Said gun was the .50-CAL. DESERT EAGLE.
what i look for in a main weapon is something small but powerful, basically a pistol that can hit like a few rounds from a rifle in one shot, like a magnum with less kickback but still hits hard, and alternate ammo types, i am nothing if not versatile
See when I saw powerful I figured the criteria would mainly consist of just how deadly and impressive the gun was in the movie/series. For that, I figured we would see guns like the cricket from the MiB series as it packs probably the biggest punch for something its size. Or maybe the 1893 Colt Single Action as it was the deadliest gun of all time based on it killing so many natives and cowboys alike in the hundreds if not thousands of westerns that have been made. It's mainly the only gun you'll see being used by 99% of people on screen. Those two guns in particular should be super high on the list based on their sheer effectiveness, and deadly power shown on screen.
I don’t know, I feel like the ZF-1 Pod Weapon is just a more bulky, less practical version of the Lawgiver. I’m just saying I’d take the Lawgiver over it any day
Chewys bowcaster packs a way bigger punch. Though the wookies are mostly seen as simple foraging cultures while they were in reality one of the more advanced races as they meshed tech and nature like the selkath and kaminoan. In all reality the wookie bowcaster is only second to mandalorian made blasters
"I hate warriors, too narrow-minded. I'll tell you what I do like though: a killer, a dyed-in-the-wool killer. Cold blooded, clean, methodical and thorough. Now a real killer, when he picked up the ZF-1, would've immediately asked about the little red button on the bottom of the gun."
The crystal weapon from men in Black 3 with one shot made a crater the size of the Grand Canyon on its lowest setting😐 and it’s a little bit smaller than a golf ball when “holstered”
Look, Robocops AUTO 9 isn't bad but his machine gun gun hand with flam thrower and rocket launcher it pretty OP, that and I'm my opinion the TERMINATOR leaver action Winchester
Should Have had Mando's Amban phase-pulse Blaster Rifle. Not only like the Phaser can it disintegrate......it's "Stun" option is a 50,000 to 500,000 volt dual pronged taser....
For weapons that stand above the rest in the context of the movies, I don't think the M41A and the phaser should be in that list, as they are a bit too common in my opinion. The noisy criket and the d5223 should be in their places.
They forgot the most powerful one of all:John Wick's Pencil. Sure it doesn't make sense because it's not a gun,but it also doesn't make sense that he killed three men in a bar with it in a short amount of time.
That's because this entry says " The most powerful **GUNS** in movies.. not "weapons" in them... a pencil is not a gun, so it gets no mention or rating.
@@thachocolategod OH well in order for a joke to be understood, it has to at least " BE FUNNY"... and while I do understand the attempt at such.. it doesn't fit into a theme regarding powerful long distance "SCREW EM ALL" weapon types..

Could u do the ones in shows like Transformers Prime or The Mandalorian or both?
the good samaritan from hellboy and the landgiver from dredd
Do these helmets from Judge Dredd and Judge remind me of Captain Falcon? 🦅🤜💥
Fun Fact: Solo’s pistol is based on the real life German Mauser C-96
DIRTY HARRY.
ELEPHANT WHITE.

Robocop's Auto-9,The Golden Gun from the James Bond movie, and for it's time Dirty Harry's Magnum are some of the most iconic guns in movies.

Tony Montana’s gun in Scarface may not have been the most powerful, but it got the best intro…
‘say hello to my little friend’……an iconic scene!
I occasionally say that to myself. As for the Destroyer gun, Agent Coulson figured out what it did before his unfortunate passing in _The Avengers._
Man, I hope Dredd is not underrated because it was so freaking great 👍
Hell Yeah 🔥Karl urban was great!
The most powerful gun is whatever gun John Wick is using
Biggest mistake you can make is bringing a gun to a John Wick fight. Man is the MDW, the most deady weapon
When he doesn’t have a pencil
And clint eastwood
John wick is the weapon
Amen to that!
The Noisy Cricket from Men in Black. It's a Literal Hand Cannon in the palm of your hand.
They definitely didn't get the physics right. For him to be blown back like that, his arm would be broken.

Doing what I can with what I got...
Fransisco Scaramanga´s golden gun from "The man with the golden gun". Easy to conceal, and one shot is enough to kill anybody.
Alicia Keyes 50 cal in Smokin Aces and Jessie Venturas Gatling gun from Predator were always my faves

among my personal favorites, Supernatural- the colt
THAT'S A POWERFUL GUN!
Honorable mentions could be the AA-12 Auto-Shotgun from The Expendables and The Godkiller from Drive Angry.
Terry Crews' line after sweeping the hallway was my favorite in Expendables.
"Remember this shit at Christmas!"

The Doom movie may not have been good, but the BFG in that movie looked friggin’ badass
The fact the BFG is number 7 is crazy. That literally obliterates armys lol
So can the ZF-1 if you full them into pressing the red button. tehe
I think it's just cuz it's the movie version. It's not nearly as strong, but cool nonetheless.
I call my springfield 1911 "Mar-a-lago", Because just like the Florida compound, it houses the 45.
We need to talk about the .88 mag in Johnny Dangerously and whatever the hell Nicholson uses in "Batman" to bring down the Batwing.
The Cricket from MIB is #1 for me dude
This should’ve been a top 20 bc there’s way more, Phil Coulson’s Destroyer rifle, Red Skulls tesseract pistol, Chewbaccas crossbow, the umbrella and briefcase from Kingsman, Proton pack, etc.
The only one I have never watch a single movie or television episode of from this list was Star Trek.
But, I expected every one of these selections.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the godkiller from drive angry with Nicholas Cage
IT'S SO POWERFUL!
Dirty Harry’s 44 Magnum should have been on the top spot. It’s the most iconic gun in cinematic history.
A honorable mention the mini gun from predator
I loved this list as it hit many highs, but I would like it if cables gun from deadpool 2 was included. I still love this content though. Keep it up!
You missed the Iron god killer from the Nick Cage movie Drive Angry. That gun is terrifying

How about a mention for the Wildey .475 Magnum from "Death Wish 3" and/or the XM-18 from the the movie "The Dogs of War".
Now that was some good gun pick
Including law giver, smaritan and number 1
Old Painless
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! 1:35 I was wondering if that scene was going to be included. 🤣🤣🤣
Where is Ash Williams’ Boomstick?!
10:47 kills me
What about the gun in the Men In Black International which is literally powered by a star. Nice list though!
I Love All the Powerful Guns like all the cool weapons, but my personal favorite is ZF-1 Pods the best Powerful Guns Ever
Don't forget about:
Proton Blaster in Ghostbusters series,
Castor Troy Golden Gun in Face Off,
Beretta in John Woo movies (A Better Tomorrow series, The Killer, Hard Boiled),
Django Unchained
The lawgiver is my favorite 🔥
I would take the:
Auto-9
M41A Pulse Rifle
BFG
Good Samaritan
DL-44
Lawgiver
44 Magnum
Top 10 Eggman Robots.
Fun fact: They cobbled together the Auto 9 for RoboCop because the gun they chose turned out to look too small in Robo's mighty fist. Said gun was the .50-CAL. DESERT EAGLE.
These days Harry would probably carry the .500 Mag S&W.
I feel Terry Crews street sweeper gun from the 1st Expendables should of got a shout out.
AA-12
Don't forget the replay function on the ZF-1
What About The Guns From The Men In Black (1997-2012) franchise my personal favorites
The Cricket
What about the gun from the jackal that shot off Jack black arm.
You forgot Cable's gun in deadpool 2

HOW THE HELL IS THE AUTO SHOTGUN FROM EXPENDABLES AND THE MISSLE HANDGUN FROM RUNAWAY NOT ON HERE!!!!

One of my favorite movie Gun is HellBoys pistol
Almost expected the shoulder mounted predator cannon.
As the list kept going it was more and more clear the zf1 was gonna be #1
The honorable mention SHOULD HAVE been on the list as a top-15 instead
Would live action megatrons fusion cannon count?
We don't talk about the 2019 version of Hellboy.
But if you mention it doesn't that mean you talked about it?
Self destruction gun over scarface gun thats crazy
I know it's a missile launcher but Arnold Schwarzenegger in Commander when he puts that shit on his shoulder!!!!!!!!!
Noisy cricket is in this I can sense it..
I mean....the Nuke Launcher in Starship Troopers?
